What's a good AR in the 600-800 range

Now that my state got cucked hard in the elections, I want to grab an AR before a potential ban. Any good ones in the 600-800 dollar price range?

How obsolete/bad is this infographic? Should I just delete it?

mostly outdated

yugo AK's arent even around anymore and go for $700+

Palmetto State Armory or Smith & Wesson M&P 15. Spend the rest of your money on hoarding mags if you wanna panic buy

I heard the RRA RRage is pretty good, it goes for $750 or $850 (cant remember which, sorry )but you need to use your own sights/optics

How's whatever Ruger calls their AR? I saw one for pretty cheap.

>If you don't spend >$2500 you'll never have a functional gun

Can you get a colt AR for under 800 or around it

Go back to your containment general, /arg/.

M&p 15 sport. I got mine for like 450ish or something close to that, and while it has faults like no forward assist(you don't need it) or a dust cover(wish I had that), it's not bad. It obviously isn't as awesome feeling to hold as a 3k rifle, but that shits in your head.

It's accurate, 1/7 twist barrel, not composite lower, and leaves plenty of room to spare for decent optics. If you legitimately feel like you can shoot better than that, or any other $500 dollar ar, congrats, you should be a paid competition shooter.

Bonus for being so cheap, buy a 22 plinker to cheaply hone your skills.

Buy a few PSA lowers and pickup 10-20 magpul mags. Get a lower parts kit and a better trigger, and an assembled upper. $800.
Putting together an AR is like a lego kit for 15 year olds.

Wow that shit is really old

Check out Arms Unlimited, they had no-furniture Colts for $650 I believe. Just add a handguard and stock of your choice

Their AR-556 is a good basic bitch AR with a FSB, comparable to S&W Sport 2. Their MPR has a free-floated M-lok handguard, a good barrel and a decent two-stage trigger, and you can find them for around $600 on sale from Sportsmans

Ruger MPR is your best bet my guy.
>18", free-floated, cold hammer forged barrel
>MLOK handguard
>Rifle length gas system
>Right in your price range can sometimes be found sub-600

You should get a gun if you want one but your AR dream is never going to be banned in your lifetime kiddo. So don't use that as your justification.

They don't make that anymore. Only the M&P 15 Sport II, which does have a forward assist and dust cover, still $500.

$3,000 ARs are like gucci purses for men.

Buy a $700 AR, and prepare to have literally the exact same shooting experience as one that was hand-machined by eunuchs or whatever they do

The sport ii has the forward assist and dust cover now.
20-30 stripped lowers.a
Or a PSA ar15 and 10 stripped lowers

Get A T91 upper and an Aero lower and do a sick dab on retards who pay hundreds of dollars for ar piston conversions.

Not even a poorfag and I want to do this.

Google windham flattop ar15

Then do it. T91 uppers come with bcg, charging handle and front sight gas block. All you need is a complete lower and a rear sight. They even have them in shorter barrel lengths now for pistols and SBRmemes.

is the mp sport II a good gun?

>literally the exact same shooting experience

That's not true. I feel way more smug shooting the ar's that are hand forged in the fires of mount doom using eldritch technology

Ruger AR- 556. Decent starter, reliable.
