For the Entent I need a Berthier M07-15, an Italian Carcano M1891, Belgian M1889 Mauser, a Portuguese Verguiero M1904, a Romanian M1893 Mannlicher, a Serbian M1910 Mauser, a Greek Mannlicher-Shoenauer M1903/14, a Chinese Hayang-88, a Siamese Type-46 Mauser and a Brazilian M1908 Mauser. This covers countries that had their own unique service rifle at the time of their participation in the conflict (still unsure whether or not to include Luxembourg M1900 Mauser since they didn't resist German occupation militarily). Not all of these rifles actually saw combat because logistics dictated that it was often easier to arm small Allied expeditionary forces with the equipment of the hosting army (e.g. Siamese forces in Europe using French weapons, Portuguese troops in Europe using British weapons).
For the Central Powers I need an Ottoman Model 1903 Mauser.
After that I can start in on substitute-standard and more obsolete rifles like the Pattern 1914 and M1917 Enfields, Mle.1886 M93 Lebel, Mannlicher M1888, Gew.88 etc.

Being a defender in this fort must have been a really tense experience. Bombed night and day for weeks by 400 mm shells falling every ten seconds or less, I'm not even sure we could make a realistic movie about that, it would PTSD the audience.

I honestly think that the whole second war could've been avoided if Allied troops forced their way into Germany proper and occupied the whole country. This would have lead to the eventual clusterfuck that was Weimar Germany regardless if there was occupation. The allies would have forced democracy on a nation where it did not organically sprout and the same problems would have occured. Wholesale occupation would fail the rectify the problems that were German identity, if anything it would make them more bitter to the loss.

Russia allied with Serbia to extend their influence into the Balkans, no one really expected some meme group to actually manage to assassinate someone important.
Even if that did happen you still had the Red Scare, what would have been much more ground breaking was the White Movement succeeding in Russia and more cooperation happening in Europe, especially with the newly formed countries. But that obviously never happened.
