User Visits a Museum

Got called into a museum I do research at to help ID three crates of guns. Took pictures for y'all. The firearms collection here is super eclectic, if I got anything wrong let me know.

Let's start with an absolutely gorgeous Smith and Wesson Model 2 Army

Shiloh heavy. Thicc barrel, vernier rear sight was missing. Drilled and tapped on the left side, I believe for a scope

Woops

This one's pretty neat. Side hammer double rifle

Where do they just get 3 crates of collectible milsurp? Seems weird they aren't labelled already or come with an inventory list

Really? I’d have thought they would want as little skin contact possible on the guns. Definitely some cool shit regardless though.

Ian senpai notice me

They've got catalog numbers and entries, some of which are incomplete or incorrect. Plus we need to confirm their existence and location

So... It's a faglock?

I'm taking a lot of time this time to take apart stuff and dig through the handguns again

Attached: 20180301_233410.jpg (2121x1440, 2.01M)

I sincerely hope all these fine firearms aren't deactivated. Who's dick did you have to suck to get a job like that?

WHY CAN'T I
HOLD ALL THESE LUGER'S?

Trapdoor carbine and heavy barreled slant breech sharps

Good 1873

Attached: IMG_20181108_103206540.jpg (2448x3264, 1.68M)

why so many lugers?

doesnt make sense for a museum to hoard more than 5 of anything

what the fuck? does some gay museum really need 3 crates of lugers? Just put one in a display case and release the rest into the wild!

Cause it's a military armory
More than 3 crates

Attached: 20180303_132620.jpg (1440x2457, 1.84M)

Pocket a luger for me. Please.

Never got around to playing with this alot

Can't. All registered

Attached: 20180317_220614.jpg (1431x2428, 1.98M)

Steal the registry.

Saving all these images and I didn't even ask. Call the police I don't care.

Just one. They'll never notice.

That’s an Early model, or perhaps a prototype.
It reminds me of the clover guns colt made, and I believe they experimented with doing that to their army/larger pattern guns.
I’m fairly certain Ian has made a vid on something like that.

The cylinder is so strange compared to production models.
Looks vaguely lefecheaux.
Perhaps a conversion or ripoff?
Sexy!
Oh good grief...
I need a C96 in my life...

Yes they will unfortunately.

Rip forgot pictures

Vetterli

Attached: IMG_20181105_144713680.jpg (3264x2448, 1.83M)

Jezail. Probably a souvenir gun, barrel is ridiculously short.

That's about all for now, I'll be going through and responding to questions in a minute

Attached: IMG_20181105_144623557.jpg (3264x2448, 1.72M)

That's really pretty.

>"Why can't I hold all these Uzis?!"

Now we just wait for a natural disaster and raid the place for "emergency supplies"

This needs to be bumped and appreciated

How many crates OP?

fucking hell that's mint

Just 3 at my museum
T. Op

It's pristine. No catalog number or any record though... Director and I joked about walking out with it. Soon as a museum gets a reputation for guns disappearing though a lot fewer people are willing to donate them

you have a Jew nose

What museum is this anyway? I could use a job there.

What caliber was the 1873?

Back action locks are hideous.

.32 wcf. Little confused why someone would buy all that rifle but so little bullet
To be fair this one's really beat up

>Director joked that it was a standard issue Stalingrad rifle
the director sounds like a cool dude

damn nice

Just asking. You got any of those WW2 M1 training rifles from Parris? I own two so I assume they are extremely common.
