That has fuck all to do with gun culture and they're rolling with a social credit system ffs

>that has fuck all to do with gun culture
WWII, Vietnam, and the War on Terror stimulated interest in gun culture in America because returning veterans liked the guns they used.

Make no mistake it's about the money, not because of a genuine interest in weapons. The population has nothing resembling second amendment rights and is unlikely to develop anything an open gun culture like ours. Airsoft maybe. And of course they'll keep watching our movies and playing our games. But they'll never get to have anything more than toys. China's military industrial complex is also pushing the electronics side of things. Guidance systems, drones, fire-and-forget chode missiles...not the kind of product the average chang can enjoy anyway.

Guns have been a part of American culture since before it became the United States. They were a part of life

>Chinese people
>being allowed to own guns
They're not even allowed to have more than two kids right now. That being said, most Chinese people I know who have lived in the United States for school or whatever are very open about trying shooting, since it's something they can't easily do in their own country. One of the only places civilians are allowed to shoot firearms in China is the Norinco facility under supervision after paying some fees.

Chinks can't even use YouTube. Do you really think that China would let 2 billion insect slaves have guns?

I can see something like Japan-tier licensing and limited to single or double shot firearms for sports shooting with a tight control on ammo.

>Modern China
>Gun culture.
China ironically had more gun culture under Mao Zedong due to his distrust of the army, and his "People's War" doctrine that made peasant militias central to the defense of the country. They scattered armories in the countryside and held annual drills. The SKS effectively a symbol of a card-carrying peasant party member.

Then when Mao died, Dengist reforms and a PLA pissed off at Mao's purges decided to centralize and strengthen the military, and one of the things they did was cuck the militia to death by taking away their guns and relegating them as non-actors in any Chinese military doctrine. They aren't even tertiary reserves anymore.

>China started serializing knives
I doubt it.

F-1 visa fag here
when my mom was a kid back in the 70s, China was going ape shit for pissing off both the USSR and USA so they arm everyone.
she had a RPK and a RPG just stacked in her bed room, some of her uncles carry sks all the time for being the militia member.
but the gov took them away in the 80s

Doubt the government will let civilians have guns because that would make an uprising more possible

There is a 0% chance that civilian owned guns will be legal under Xi, unless some crazy shit happens and the Chinese people are required to go back to fighting guerilla war.

Holy shit... You are retarded to the MAX. The Chinese invented gun powder, and the first guns (fire lance). Without them you wouldn't even have the concept of freedom, nor would you be living the land you walk on.

China had a gun culture before your inbred family fucked and conceived you in your burger infested trailer park.

>don't even apply discovery to warfare for hundreds of years, make crude scattergats using it

Yippy! Firecrackers!

Chinese invented the first gunpowder weapons such as cannons, handgonnes (handcannons), bombs, flint triggered mines, fire arrows, fire lances and military rockets. The Chinese used gunpowder for weapons from the start. Europeans invented the arquebus musket which is not the first weapon to use gunpowder.

>be retarded mutt literally doing nothing
>don't apply discovery to warfare for hundreds of years more because they didn't actually discover anything
>somehow think the development of arms is all thanks to his particular strain of "white people" (1/31 italian and 3/57 irish muh heritage), show no appreciation for China
Yippy! (Whatever you decide to take credit for)

The Mongols adopted gunpowder weapons from the Chinese and used them in Europe. The first cannons were invented by Chinese. The Chinese gunpowder bombs, rockets and fire arrows used against Mongols were then used by Mongols at Mohi against the Hungarians.

China invented gunpowder before Roger Bacon was alive. The first gunpowder weapons like rockets, bombs and fire arrows were invented in the Chinese Song dynasty.

Most Chinese peasants privately owned matchlock muskets, swords and halberds in the Ming dynasty and Qing dynasty. That is how so many peasant rebellions happened. It was the Communists who confiscated all weapons from the peasantry and banned private gun ownership. China had a gun culture before in the Imperial era.

Both of you are fucking retards. "Gun culture" has nothing to do with inventing gunpowder weapons. It means civilians having a culture of owning firearms and practice shooting and hunting. The OP was not saying Chinese did not invent gunpowder weapons. The Chinese did invent the first gunpowder weapons like cannons, handgonnes, rockets, bombs, mines, fire lances and fire arrows while Europeans invented the arquebus musket much later after first using Chinese invented handgonnes and cannon.

Nigga, they can't even drive mopeds. Don't make me post webms nigga.

IMPLESSIVE

>the "mutts" didn't invent AC and DC (inb4 you kvetch because Tesla wasn't born in America)
>didn't invent the microchip
>the lightbulb
>GPS
>videogames
>LEDs
>defibrillators
Should I go on, vatnik?

The Ming and Qing dynasties in China used Chinese peasant militias armed with their own private matchlock muskets and fowling piece shotguns to supplement their armies in war. Chinese peasants had fortified villages and private forts stocked with muskets and loopholes in the walls for firing out of them against bandits. The French were attacked in Taiwan by Chinese peasants firing on them with muskets in 1884.

How am I a retard for smacking that needledicked gook around and fixing his fucked up, inflated ego? I couldn't give two shits about who first discovered something if they never refined it, especially when the clowns were trying to brew an immortality potion.

The Communists confiscated the peasants weapons in China and banned their religious societies in the 1950s. Those religious cults are what led peasant rebellions and banditry throughout Chinese history. Their muskets, shotguns, halberds, and spears were taken away and their cults destroyed.

Because your statement is a lie and you repeated the lie again for a second time and your ego is even more inflated probably in reverse proportion to your dick. The Chinese invented the first gunpowder weapons and firearms immediately after inventing gunpowder. The Chinese invented handgonnes (handcannon), cannons, mines, bombs, fire arrows, fire lances, and rockets in the Song dynasty immediately discovering gunpowder. Europeans used Chinese invented handgonnes and cannon before inventing the musket centuries later. You claimed Chinese only used gunpowder for firecrackers and that westerners invented the first gunpowder weapons which is a lie.

>Because your statement is a lie
They made crude weaponry using gun powder, prove me wrong. Something on a stick with a range of 3m is refined or is it crude?

Read these you fucking retard. The Chinese applied gunpowder to weapons and warfare immediately after inventing it, using bombs and rockets against the Mongols who then used them against Europeans and spread those weapons to Europe. The first cannon in the world was invented in China and so were mines and rockets centuries before Europeans.

Cannons, handgonnes, fire arrows and rockets all have ranges of dozens or even hundreds of meters. The Chinese used those weapons against Jurchen and Mongon fleets and armies which blew up their ships. Do you know what a cannon is?

>post makes a joke about firecrackers so you sperg out and assume they must think that's the only thing chinks did with gunpowder when in the very same post it's recognized they used it in warfare
Wow Chang, you're quite the baka.

How much is 50cent paying you? I hope at least a dollar xDD

Find a flaw, unless you're suggesting cannons were invented overnight after the discovery of gunpowder you propaganda-loving gutter oil-using plastic egg and rice eating pisskin monkey.

Gunpowder was used by Chinese in weapons less than a century after it was invented. It was invented in the 900s in Song dynasty China and applied to weapons in the same century in only a few years. Fire arrows and fire lances were among the first gunpowder weapons.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_arrow#History
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_lance
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunpowder#China

>first invented
Circa 850 AD
>attach a bag of gunpowder to an arrow and fire it
H I G H T E C H
>fire lances exist in the Jin-Song wars, roughly 1125 AD

Thats the year when fire lances were first used, not first invented. The Song had a period of peace for over a century. A single untrained soldier could launch dozens of fire arrows at once against a concentration of enemy soldiers using a portable hand held rocket launcher instead of having dozens of trained archers fire arrows manually.

Hydrogen bombs were invented in the 1950s but never used in war.

is that why the red guard in c&c generals has the sks?

>is that why the red guard in c&c generals has the sks?
The """Red Guard""" wasn't the army. They are fanatical, paramilitary students and peasants who did Mao's faction in the CCP's bidding.

Historically the Chinese militia in the early days of the CCP always got the older weapons. When the army got the AK 47s and made the Type 56s knockoffs, they handed to the militia their Mosin Nagants and SKSs.

During the 60s NORINCO decided they could make a cheap, auto-capable firearm for the Militia and they came up with the type 63. Which was a shit combination of the SKS and the AK. It was bad because it was barely controllable during full auto and it was heavy. So it was basically a bigger SKS. It was so bad the Militia started petitioning their SKS' back, and the Chinese started throwing these weapons to communist rebels and the Afghan Mujahedeen fighting soviets.
