Enfields being used alongside RPGs and AKs has always been surreal to me.

Navy SEAL with an Owen gun in Vietnam.

Well technically the Owen was still standard issue to Australian troops in nam

>inna 'Nam
>get assigned to my new platoon
>PSG is some guy they call "The Brah"
>reputation for being a callous, murderous son of a bitch
>out on our my first patrol
>Charlie opens up from the goddamn treeline
>Doc and 8-Ball both get wasted
>Guy next to me gets his head scooped off, pieces of him all over me
>through the blood, smoke, and cordite I look up to see The Brah
>calmly kneeling in the middle of it all, killing gook after gook
>orders us all to charge into the teeth of the ambush, we follow unflinchingly
>do things I try to forget after we reach them
>later on back at base, The Brah is smoking hash and making a necklace out of the gold teeth he pulled from a captured VC's mouth
>I ask him how he can stand it, to live like this every day, to have shed his manhood and become a monster who preys on other monsters
>he looks at me, no feeling left behind his eyes
>"user, it is what is"

This is really strange. How did it get there?

Found in Afghanistan.

kek

Blicky got the stiffy, uh

Why? It was a pretty current design at the time and SOG had a clear need for compact machine guns.

At a guess, I'd say captured by the Russians, and sold/gifted to NV
Seems bizarre, but when you think about it, the Russians must have had a fair stockpile of captured German stuff, of all kinds, actually kinda surprising it didn't turn up in Korea and Vietnam more often

That thing should have been delivered home.

Technically this isn't out of place but I like it anyway.

Is that ReviewBrah?

yes.
that's the joke.
Good job user.

Whats the purpose of that circle trench?

Rotate the gun and crew easily

It was. As a trophy for the company/unit so it sits somewhere with the unit/company’s standards

>Russians must have had fair stockpile of captured German stuff
Not just the Ruskis (although, mostly them. They must've had hundreds of warehouses full of German shit). South Korea with some surplus WWII SS uniforms during the Korean War.

Grenade sump is the correct answer. Google it.

That guy is literally the Australian meme guy and he is a god

lol are those Germans?

:( I feel ashamed

Peter Lorre goes to the Nam

Yes
Troops on the Atlantic Wall were often issued captured weapons.

That gun probably got shipped to some captured weapons warehouse where it either still sits today or got destroyed. That pisses me off, I would rather the Taliban have it.

Wow, that's pretty cool. Never come across that before. Thanks for the pics frendo

Looks to be in pretty decent condition too, although hard to tell from that photo obviously.

Then why not just dig a pit? Its still 360 degrees and less work. I think its a grenade thingy like the other guy said.

This whole entire video.

>*Men of Valor intensifies*
Loved the game even though I primarily went through those missions and the game on semi-auto to save ammunition for stuff like the M16A1, CAR-15 and Thompson.
Hearing Cyborg yell out "gooners" was funny too.

>and less work

this is the germans were are talking about here tho

bless you user

The M3 Grease Gun continued to be used during the Gulf War but unfortunately there are apparently no photos of it in theater.

That's flattering, lads. Always nice to meet fellow meme enthusiasts.

Didn't the Israelis capture a few Panzers and StuGs and press them into service?

>be me
>be Panzer IV
>be built by Third Reich in its glorious crusade to exterminate Jewish Bolshevism from the face of the Earth
>Reich loses war, get captured
>be resold abroad like a common whore
>wind up in the deserts of the Middle East, far from home
>Arabs prove they can't into maneuver warfare and I get captured
>captured by der Juden
>Juden decide that I am high quality enough to be pressed back into service alongside my former adversary, the Shermans and his younger brother, the Patton
>my last days are spent blowing up Arab T-55s on behalf of the International Jewish Conspiracy I fought so hard to destroy
>at least I got to fight Commie tanks

Such is life.

At first I thought that guy on left had two colour camo I haven't seen before.
Then I looked at it little better and realized that colours just blend.

Is that freidi murcery? What's he trying to steal?

They also used Greece guns and m1 carbine in the vet war but you only see m16 a1 and the car 15 and the xm I can't remember the rest of the name of the gun in films and games

They also did produce some german stuff in the late 40s for testing.

>pz4 killing t55
lol nice fantasy

songs from better artists

That's because Vietnam War movies are usually about front-line grunts in ~1968. And they did pretty much only use M16s and M60s. M1 carbines were more of early war thing carried by 'advisers' or later war by rear echelon troops.

I would swear that is Mark Wahlberg on the right there.

Crazii isn’t it?

where is the gun mounted in your pit?

This is proof enough that RS2 should add the MG34 and FG42. After all RO2 had lots of dumb fucking experimental or rare weapons on the German side because Tripwire is full of idiots.

Yea I'm sure some no-nothing civilian thought about this more than the Wehrmacht

Attached: 11386901756.jpg (300x300, 13K)

Probably later they just gave the gooks mp 40's

No fucking way. You're pulling my leg. I haven't played the game in about a month due to work...and here I thought things were going so well.

Let's see some some more American weapons. They've been adding Gookshit for a while now.

Nope, they added the M2 browning (only on certain maps) as well if that makes you happy.

>guns being used in conflicts they don’t belong
>posts gun that belongs in every conflict

Alright that makes me happy.

Fucking kek

Enfield + mismatched AK + RPG is maximum terrowave arsenal
>make a bunch of Garands to sell all over the world
>just for them to shoot at your own soldiers 40 years later
Feels bad man
Lots of Arab/Muslim insurgents have just piles of Third Reich weaponry. Even more in Africa, where they all get it from. Really interesting when you think about it

>Greece guns

This

WW2 era stuff in nam isn't that big stretch, considering how old some of the stuff mainstream armed forces have in service currently

Ppsh

>find rifle grandpappy used in ww2 in a mud hut

Attached: 1540689825417.jpg (480x515, 47K)

You underestimate just how incompetent the Mohammedan truly is.

Is that against the ROE?

might be, but imagine being the maddest cunt for balling around with your PPSh bullethose and being the envy of every other bloke in your unit with all that handheld dakka until your superior officer finds out or you run out of tambourines to feed it's Holodomor famine-tier hunger for more ammunition, whatever comes first

I have the opinion the papasha is the ultimate urban warfare weapon. I think it probably helped take fortress berlin faster than any other standard infantry weapon at the time. Mixed with the reckless abandon the commanders used their troops of course.

>less work

To dig a circle rather than to dig a circle, and all the material inside the circle?

I'm a loser manual laborist by trade. I'd rather dig a circle than a pit of equivalent diameter.

Slipping an AIDS pill into that poor man's canteen

Fuck I loved that game.

> that literal fucking pile of STGs at 4:19

Attached: tails.jpg (537x608, 51K)

No, the panzer ivs and stugs weren’t even mobile at ‘67, they were just turrets at that point
They may have a few squirreled away in museums but the Israelis didn’t put them in service
They put the more modern stuff they captured in service but not the old stuff

HEAT shells.

Agreed. The only drawback to that thing is the weight. If the weight doesn't matter, its a perfectly good machine gun.

hajjis dont give a flying fuck.

These might be post-war Western german soldiers,
