Will a gun explode if I am waving it around as I shoot it? Cause as the bullet is traveling through the barrel if I am moving the gun, the barrel will slam into the bullet as the bullet is traveling through the barrel. What if this happens? Has it ever happened and why or why not?

The bullet moves way faster than your hans could ever move

What if I move my hands really fast? Like hypothetically if I move them faster than anyone realistically could?
The bullet and the barrel are in constant contact until the bullet leaves the barrel
>the barrel will slam into the bullet
This is what happens regardless. It's how the rifling works.
what?
Are you sure? I hear Germans move pretty quick.
even if you managed to move fast enough nothing would happen and it would just go out the barrel still
yes it would totally blow up, thats why when shooting high powered revolvers you need to get a firm grip on them, its called a stovepipe.
Nope. They tried it on (((mythbusters)))
As example a .45acp has a bullet diameter of .451 or .452. Its larger, very slightly, than the bore. It would be stuck in the barrel if not for the pressure created to push it through. A 2ft bore with a 2in bullet would not create any back pressure as gasses, pressure, would go past bullet
The barrel grips and forms the bullet, much like you grip and deform your cock. This is why most manufacturers recommend swapping out your dong around 50,000 cumshots or so, depending on the caliber you spurt.
ITT, a bunch of Einsteins who have never heard of turret ball gunners on bombers
No, but the inertia of swinging the gun around will remain on the bullet after it leaves the barrel and curve the bullet's flight path.
what?
Really?
The bullet in the barrel and the gun are going to be moving with the same side-to-side velocity because it's essentially a rigid system.
so then the bullet will have spin?
The better have fucking spin. That's what the rifling is there for.
Did anybody actually like that movie? I was waiting for a sequel where yanking the gun backwards faster than the recoil made the bullet fly backwards. You can totally hit people standing behind you that way. Or maybe storing bullets near armor teaches the bullets to be armor piercing.
You have to be 18 to post here
I always liked this copy pasta.
Can it happen irl though?
Yes. Also, circling around the Earth causes time to travel backwards. Just watch those old Superman movies.
>Will a gun explode if I am waving it around as I shoot it?
Yes the gun will explode.
Movement does affect ballistics though just not noticeably on what a human can do aircraft are a different story.
This thread has made me finally realize the real presence of nogunz on Jow Forums
>Will a gun explode if I am waving it around as I shoot it?

that was v.interesting and good lord fuck was being a bomber gunner hard
You'll cause the bullet to curve!
I can't even hit stationary targets
