If they have some gay ass roster then it's possible that Mossberg didn't pay their extortion fees, but otherwise no.

>new jersey

the state that just re-elected a confirmed pedophile and corrupt Democrat senator under FBI investigation?

the same state that says hollow point ammo is illegal? you are surprised?

>you will never own a FAL

Balances out.

>Unironically living in Jersey
You come anywhere near NC I’ll run you off the road

I would move to Canada 50 times over before stepping foot in Joysee.
t. PAfag

To be fair a lot of states have elected pedophiles and corrupt Democrats, it doesn't really have a bearing on why the clerk told him he couldn't buy a shotgun he had literally sitting on the shelf for sale.

I agree NJ does suck just made a "compliant" ar build and it hurts me on the inside. That being said shockwaves are not illegal in NJ and if your in South Jersey Cheyenne Mountain Outfitters in Bordertown are having their fall sale and are selling shockwaves for $280 I believe

fuck you at least I can get an Ar-15

The problem is that New Jersey gun laws are so convoluted that nobody quite exactly knows what’s legal there and what isn’t. The general rule of thumb is, what’s legal is whatever your local FFL is willing to sell you. The general consensus is that the Shockwave is legal in NJ, and you can find it pretty easily. But that is, of course, not universal.

we can get ar-15s here too dipshit

its fucking depressing that the gun laws have been cucked so hard that they have to play on semantics and technicalities.

>Live in Ohio
>Fucking these are like the only thing banned here thx to some old legal technicalities

Attached: 15-23-05-1541394345364.jpg (1024x683, 216K)

unconstitutional gun laws notwithstanding, why would you want a Shockwave?

Not OP, but I spend extended amounts of time in upstate NY for family reasons. I’m not a NY resident and don’t have a pistol permit, so I need the smallest and most compact home defense weapon I can bring with me that’s not a pistol and is otherwise NY legal. The Shockwave fills that need nicely.

>Live in Ohio
I'm so sorry.

>do a 360 and leave the counter
So you vaulted the counter?

>newfags

excuse me mother hecker?

fair enough

>It was a PA gun store, I live right on the border
That just makes less sense -- it's not a shotgun or rifle, so nobody can buy it from an out-of-state gun store anyway.
(That goes for both Tac-14 and Shockwave, obviously.)

Dude where are you? I live in Essex county and the store 10 minutes from me has multiple shockwaves for sale

For the last time, no they aren't.

Disregarding the retard behind the counter, the Tac-14 is a better gun anyway IMO. Less ammo, sure, but the action isn't rickety, there's no strap to get in the way of large hands, and you can put all kinds of good shit on the magpul.

Jew York sucks, but at least the Shockwave is legal there.

can't shoot it literally anywhere outside of an overpriced range without getting a felony and your asshole reamed out dry by a mountie (heh)

In any state, you cannot buy guns out of state and you cannot buy guys for others. Only way around that is a no receipt personal face to face transaction, which is legal. I too, almost made the mistake of buying a $300 new VP9SK three hours away in another state, until anons informed me. There's state laws, and there's federal laws. Observe both or you WILL get fucked. The dog killers are always on the look out.

He also gets a mug shot taken every time his license to own expires, he has to be finger printed and a apply for a separate license to purchase and every year, on the year, he receives a thorough cavity search for contraband at randomly appointed times to avoid disposal of evidence.

>put one on layaway
>paid for 6 fucking months
>finally pay it off
>start doing the paperwork
>”im sorry, but you have to be 21 to get this according to FEDERAL law”
>try to sell me a shitty tactical maverick 88 instead
>letthebodieshitthefloor.mp3

Leave means leave retard

The joke is, that when you do a 360 and walk away, you do the moon walk.

Bend over faggot. After I graduate im moving to a town near you.
>and voting hard right

>he receives a thorough cavity search for contraband

Oh my fuck, I saw that. Have never been more pissed off. Literally ass raped by a cop on the fucking side of the highway for several minutes, for fucking nothing. And a jury looks at this and says, "hey cool".

You know there's different rules for rifles+shotguns vs everything else, right?
You can absolutely walk into a gun store in another state and buy rifles and shotguns normally, so long as you comply with the laws of both states.

>I can't be bothered to know the laws myself
>some retail worker didn't know the laws any better than me
>REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

>>do a 360
you're still standing at the counter?

Not that user.
There's a tax on it if you sell your house and move out of state. Not even kidding. This place is too expensive to save the money to leave.

you are the only yankee i'd welcome to the south

------The Joke---->
(Your Head)

Sell your house, rent a shitty apartment, and THEN move out of state.

In jew Jersey it’s classified as a sbs

This is a “ lurk moar newfag moment” brought to you from dreddit.

At this point I often wonder if people are actually falling for the meme or if they just reply to play along with it.

Well you don't know shit. In my state, if you live in a bordering state, you can purchase a shotgun or rifle with no problem. You just can't buy handguns.

But you can't buy EITHER of them, or any other gun that's not a rifle or shotgun, in another state -- at least not without having it shipped to an FFL in your home state, and doing a transfer just as though you bought it online. (And why shop in a gun store AND pay your LGS's FFL transfer fee, when you can always find it cheaper online and pay the same fee?)

>just can't buy handguns.
No, you can't buy anything that's not a rifle or shotgun -- that includes "firearms", stripped receivers, etc., as well as handguns.

This.

I added the flush fitting +1 Wilson Combat mag tube extension. It will now hold 5+1 12ga 2.75” or 4+1 3” mag shells in it.

I also like the weight of the gun, it helps a bit with recoil over the aluminum receiver. Especially for faster follow up shots and soaking up magnum loads. The forend is also nice and can be modded to suit my tastes. I put a vertical 2.5” grip on it.

The safety is better for the application due to the risk of bumping the M500 tang safety when you ride the wrist of the stock with the unconventional grip. They should have used the Maverick 88 trigger group. There is also that M88/M500/M590 design flaw where if the gun is dropped with the safety on, the shell lifter can come loose and jam the action. Bad idea, especially for a pistol.

Finally, I’d rather have a steel receiver because at the end of the day this thing is a pistol and anodized aluminum suck way worse than black oxide finish any day of the week for durability. At least you can easily refinish the Tac-14 after you beat the shit out of it. The gun feels much sturdier.

>strap bad
>bumping safety
I get this feeling you're holding it wrong, taking all the recoil in your right hand?
Nothing wrong with the Tac-14 (other than being made by the rusting hulk of remington), and I'm not here to convince you the mossman is better. But you'll do better with either gun if you use proper technique.
Stretch the gun.
Stretch it.

Where at?? I’m in Hunterdon county

New Jersey is the reason Marlin had to switch the Model 60 from an 18 round mag tube to a 14 round in 1985.

As for the TAC-14, they are pretty useless unless you are Dumpster Defending at close range, but I have always thought the "Witness Protection" was a cool gun. I have considered getting one and then buying one of those 60's-era 870 Police parts kits from APEX just so I could swap out the bolt and trigger group. Those APEX kits are demilled Wingmasters (at least the one I got was) so you could add a chrome bolt and ditch the plastic trigger guard for an aluminum one with that kit. Then you could sell all the spare parts individually on Gunbroker and recoup all - if not more - of your money spent on the kit. A brand new 18" barrel from Remington costs about as much as the entire APEX kit which is why I bought one.
