Whatever the next war is, it probably won't be the one thats expected.

It also probably won't involve the US. The last few decades have cost it blood, tressure and reputation for fuck all gain. Beyond the airstrike/SF combo I don't think we will see much for sometime.

Jesus you're young, but the reality of Afghanistan is we are occupying it like Germany and japan we have less soldiers there than we do in Germany. It will take a generation for our goals to be met because we have to educate the populace. No politician will say this out loud because it would hurt their reputation. Anyway I believe the next war we will have will be either south America or a proxy war against Chinese interests.

I'm asking myself this question MULTIPLE. TIMES. EVERY. FUCKING. DAY.

The last weeks have been rough for me, constantly dozing away and reminiscing about a specific time period in the past and thinking of killing myself because I realize that this specific time period is over and won't come back.

To make things simple: I've fell into a depression about 10 years ago. However, I had two good friends who managed to carry me through the ordeal. They made me laugh, they gave me hope, they supported me and I was happy in spite of the depression. A very peculiar feeling, really hard to explain.
One of those 2 friends moved away a couple of years ago but that was OK since the other friend was still there....but a few months ago he too moved away...So the depression which was kind of subdued became stronger and everything... And yes, this is the time period i'm reminiscing about, the time period when my 2 friends and me were constantly hanging out together. Knowing this time won't come back destroys me on the inside, I unironically have a lump in my throat writing this.

Hopefully that makes sense...Wat do Jow Forums? Wat do?
