quick addendum,
the mp7 was within a few years replaced with the mp9 which legitimately was a functioning mac 10 with more polymer in it's design. since the mp9 also took standard ammunition calibers rather then Unnobtainium rounds it quickly replaced the mp7 in anything and everything the mp7 ever tried to do.

Sooo, how come the mp7 seems to much more prevalent now than the P90. It's used in police department, special forces, in, what seems to me, much greater numbers.
Does the MP7 failed only to succeed later (in terms of sales I mean).
