I'll cut the bullshit and get to the point: What's the average amount of money one would need to score pic related used? I'm a poorfag and I currently have $400 to spare, and I want either a Glock 17 or a Glock 19--I may be a poor but I'm not buying shitty nigger guns like the hi-point or XD. I fucking want Glock Perfection.
So tell me, boys, can I score a Glock for $400 or do I need to save up another hundred before I go shopping?

~$350 depending on what gen and where you find it.

Stop being poor.

Yeah.

>can I score a Glock for $400
yes, maybe less if you buy used

you can get a brand new one for around $500

this

>>but I'm not buying shitty nigger
wants a glock
oh the logic of the uneducated/

Based yeah poster!

Gun.deals is your friend.

A Gen 3 is preferred, Gen 4’s are the worst they made and the Gen 5 is the best but out of your price range. Gen 3 LE trade ins can be had for less than $400.

The M&P 2.0 series is a great alternative and is consistently below $400.

>Gen 4’s are the worst they made
why tho

In my experience? You never see a used G19 for a good price unless it's beat to fuck or bubba'd hard. Most people want full MSRP or more because of the "added value" of their backyard gunsmithing.

That's just my experience though.

My gen4 is amazing tho

They suffered from reliability issues early on, consistently weak ejection, just not worth dealing with. I had to buy $40 Apex extractors just to unfuck the terrible dribbly brass.

I say this as someone who owns three Gen 4’s, two 19’s and a 17. Gen 5’s for example have fucking great ejection and a more mechanically accurate barrel (which most people won’t be able to notice) along with better triggers, as an example.

Could you be like me and be okay with Gen 4’s? Sure but I just don’t see the point in getting one when you can spend the extra $50 to get a Gen 5.

I have a gen 4 and I don't see what your issue is.

I've had 2 or 3 stovepipes in around 2k rounds. No other stoppages.

I agree with this. People here always say $350, I've rarely if ever found decent conditions Glocks going for that. If you really want Glock "perfection" op, save up a little more and buy a new one or a very good condition used one. $400 might be a tad low, but it's not far off so be patient and save up another $100.

My Gen 4 is tits and reliable and accurate! With cheap shit ammo or 1$ a round shit! The only draw back in my mind is the finger grooves if your not into them! Although the new finish on the gen 5 is appealing!

I picked up a police trade in with box, docs, 3 mags and night sights that was virtually brand new from what i could tell for $380 after shipping and transfer fees from Kings Firearms Online. Generally speaking most used G19 Gen 3's like the one i scored, if you are lucky can be found privately or online for right at $400. If you google police trade in guns or police trade in glocks there are a lot of websites out there that have used G19's and G17's for around $400-$450 but mine was a stroke of luck. If i were you just save an extra $100 and keep and eye out for deals online or set up a gun broker account and start searching for the used Glocks with a buy it now option. I have seen plenty on Gunbroker for good deals if you're patient and keep an eye out.

Later Gen 3s also had the poor ejectors. It happened because they switched to MIM printing for them instead of machining. You can buy the new ejectors for $10 which seems to fix the problem.

>currently experiencing brass to forehead with a gen 3

I got a gen 3 g22 police trade in for like $325 from some place on gun.deals. The only thing wrong with it is it's scratched all to piss from being holstered a million times

OP here
Gee, why didn't I think of that?
I'll have a look around for some LEO trade-ins
Now that's Glock Perfection
Based enthusiastic poster! Need more people who aren't afraid to use exclamation points!
How can I tell the difference between a stamped and milled ejector?
I really want night sights desu so I'll keep an eye out
I honestly don't mind if it's scratched to hell as long as it works like it's supposed to

Go be a fucking fudd somewhere else

>I really want night sights desu so I'll keep an eye out

I almost spent $100 on something I thought I wanted. They do have their place but make an educated decision on them. I used to use fiber optics on all my Glocks back when I shot irons.
youtu.be/cieJQE3M_hA

You can always get Ameriglo Defoors, paint the front sight with white nail polish, let it dry then finish it up with bright orange nail polish for effective high vis sights.
>pic related

Honestly while night sights are cool i think people almost believe its a requirement over a weapon light on your gun for muh "night time home defense" If i were you man find what you can for cheap and get a pair of fiber optics sights from Heinie, Taran Tactical or many other companies. I run red fiber optic front and blackout rear sight and its great.

Unless you're going to make a racegun out of it (which I doubt because poorfaggotry) or desperately want 33-round mags, there's a glut of quality Glockoffs under $400 new (SD9VE,M&P,Security 9, G2C, etc.)

Fuck man this hurts. Went to a pawnshop the other day and they wanted $650 for a fucking used G19. Almost laughed in their faces.

Yeah I kinda want night sights incase I'm in the dark. I want this not only to be my HD gun but also my range gun, CCW and Boogaloo pistol, so do you think the night sights are worth it?

The ejectors have a number stamped on them. I don’t remember what it is, but if you just google “gen 3 glock ejectors” it will become very clear. The bad ejectors are almost like a toothpick. It is something you’ll have to field strip the gun to check, so just make sure the seller is okay with that. It’s the easiest thing to do, and if they won’t let you, you shouldn’t buy from them anyway.

450
350-400 is possible and common but you have to look and be on top of your game for that.

IMO if you can’t make out the white dot sights, you can’t have a positive ID on the target, so you shouldn’t be shooting.

Night sights have a real narrow window of usefulness. It's so dark the glow helps you find the front sight but not so dark that you can't even see your target. Nothing beats fiber in full daylight and nothing beats a white light in full darkness.

>t. has night sights on his G19

amazon.com/Ameriglo-Pro-IDOT-Glock-17-Orange/dp/B004YY2T4I

Dont expect anything from used nightsights tritums halflife is like 7-10 years if you buy a posurp glock those nightsights are dead dying or have maybe 2 years left before they are too dim to be of any use.
If nightsights are important buy new.

Honestly no. Do a little research on the "whole night sights for home defense use" debate and most professionals agree training with your weapon and a weapon mounted light are all you really need. At home defense distances you are talking about point and shoot style shooting not spending your time trying to find a perfect sight picture. Once you have identified the threat with your weapon mounted light its pretty much point in his direction and shoot with how close those distances are. Not to mention if you keep your gun locked up like i do, night sights still need an external light source to stay reasonably bright. I don't plan on waking up to a break in and charging my night sights with a flash light and clearing my house. I think night sights have some purpose but for how expensive they are and they die out after a few years, its cheaper to stick with fiber optics.

Got any more pics of that glock of yours? Maybe with some visible landmarks or street signs in the background?

Attached: 1549140796298.jpg (575x619, 24K)

Wait, so the glow wears off??

They're nuclear and have a half life

Well, are there ones that have a longer half life?

just get a red dot
Irons are objectively inferior

Ive seen gen 4 glock 19s for $400. Dont listen to the memes glock is pretty good.

Yes, but they aren't sold anymore because they are a massive internal dose if ingested.

>not buying nigger guns like hi-point or XD
>Grouping Hi-point quality and price in with XD quality and price
>not buying nigger guns
>buying a glock
>next most commonly named firearm in any rap song besides "gat" or "choppa"
>not buying nigger guns
OP, you are extremely retarded. Do some simple fucking google research before you come here, and demonstrate your ignorance, lack of possession of firearms, and ultimately low IQ level. I hope your Glock explodes and blows your fucking hands off so that you can no longer masturbate to your bbw gay furry porn. Or maybe you'll be carrying, and ND into your femoral artery, or your manlet penis. Either way, you deserve to be punished.

>I don't want a nigger gun
>I want a glock

Glock never made milled or MIM'd ejectors. What you retards mean is extractor. Even then it never made a difference. The problem was from the new double recoil spring working too well

Shields are really good guns

XD is way better than glock, is this bait?

I have both, and I wouldnt say better, they are pretty much the same everything, just different branding, and springfield sucks ass politically, but handgun wise its literally like apple vs samsung phone debate shit, really just preference.

Not sure if you're serious or not, but I actually shoot better with XDs than Glocks.

After some further research, you may be correct about the cause of the issue. Several hundred people reporting that installing the redesigned ejector fixed their ejection problems speaks for itself however.

>T. Retarded Glock owner
