Why can't anyone do this shit right?

you fucked up the title worse than I did
what can you expect from people who are interested in military service

good goys. be a cog in the ZOG and fight for Israel! israeli foreign legion most powerful force on Earth! dont mind the state of your own nation goy, israel is America's greatest ally!

Young teenage white girls love black boys far more than pathetic white cucks. The latest generation of white girls are all dating black boys and that's a good thing!

Only morons and losers enlist in the military. There is nothing honerable about it, youlll merely be a government leech and a pawn

Drill instructor here, ama

What happens when recruits fight?

has a recruit ever had a crush on you?

Faggot ass OP making the thread over 9000 posts early. Gonna ask again
>Which is preferable for running on treacherous terrain, hiking boots or combat boots?

Depends on how much money you're willing to throw in. Real hiking boots will be better than combat boots any day though. Civies don't wear combat boots unless they're a teenager and their big brother that went to Afghanistan gave them to him, or they're a middle aged man LARPing on summer vacation.

Let it wind down then put them on the quarter deck, call military police, then they get dropped.

no one cares

>Real hiking boots
Recs plox

>Dropped
Like..shot in the head?

Have fun never dropping Faggots

Where can I find documents on the needed physical profiles for various MOSs and AFSCs? I have a 212021. The 0 I guess means extremely good because the people at MEPS were really impressed with my hearing. Either way, three 2s limits my options quite a bit and I don't know how to check what I can and can't get.

Assigned to a carrier. Any chance they’d send me to VBSS?

No, dropped into the ocean

your recruiter should have a binder list filled with jobs , which also have the required profile rating, your oprions will likely be slim

What AFSC do you want?

Is there any reason for someone that's smart and from a rich family to enlist?

only if you're a loser degenerate that turned out to be a pot smoking failure

I asked, he didn't. Recruiter is new as fuck and doesn't know what he's doing at all. Absolutely clueless. Only recruiter near me for miles too.
In fantasyland I'd go for special recon or sere specialist but lord knows I won't get those with my physical profile. I don't really know what I want besides that right now which is why I was going to pick through ones I'm semi interested in and see whats hoppin' in regards to if I can get them or not. Geospatial intel, maybe scientific application specialist. Aerospace propulsion is cool.

I literally know the 101 dude who took the IOTV pic

>pot smoking failure
>smart

Prove it. What's his name and how big is his dick?

Best part of your job?
Worst?
Weirdest story?

It depends on why you want to enlist but active is certainly a bad idea

Has anyone seen my NODS?

I think PV2 Snuffy has them.

How do I transfer my car from home to my next command?

Just graduated 68w ait ama

How much dick do you suck?

>at the recruiting office
>all the army guys are fat or manlet incels
>navy guys are chads with sick cammies

>running
>boots
why

If I join the army will my knees joints and back be permanently damaged by the time I'm out?

To a different training company, or to a separation platoon to get sent home.

West or East?
If West, D Co?

Best part is screaming until you shit yourself in a migraine running laps around 500 man company on a 10k hike. Saw a kid get sent home because for 3 days would only respond when referred to as jesus christ.

Not today atf.

All of them

My nikes get destroyed in less than a month. No more questions, user. Only solutions.

Shipping out to Jackson in June. Is it really as lame as everyone says?

Army recruit training is bs and easy. Over in usmc training I cant even cuss at a recruit anymore.

Muhammed in the house fellas!
Religion of peace, yo!

Damn. I would think people get in scuffles all the time in boot camp

>Over in usmc training I cant even cuss at a recruit anymore.
because the DI's have killed recruits

This shit pisses me off actually. They aren't training for flower sales. Why the fuck can't you cuss now?

By cussingvat them?
Is this why leftists claim speech kills people?

Why do you need to cuss at people user? Very unprofessional.

>Is this why leftists claim speech kills people?
no, the military has a scorched earth policy when someone fucks up

I think a lot of the training overhauls came from those marine DI's shoving a muslim recruit into a dryer and turning it on, he died

Attached: jej (3).gif (360x270, 1.63M)

I went to recuiters for the army and for the marines.

Marine recruiter was really cool and actually cared enough to go in depth and even play a cool little propaganda movie for the USMC

Army recruiter was late and didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know and couldn’t tell me what I wanted to, while also telling a certain requirement I didn’t meet that he proved himself wrong about in the info packet he gave me as I walked out the door

They both ended up asking me if I ready to join up, and I thought the marines would suck but this recruiter makes me think I’d be better off in the marines

Anyone else with this dilemma, or with input?

Attached: 852DD800-A521-4BB9-933B-50216813FD7D.jpg (1081x417, 60K)

>and couldn’t tell me what I wanted to
what do you want to know?

Don't judge branches based off of recruiters I'd say. Go with the branch that seems like a better fit in terms of lifestyle/ culture and has the job you want.

That marine was hunting for fresh boypussy, the army guy was just doing his shitty job

Cant cuss within earshot, even. I'm phone posting so sorry for punctuation. They installed suicide railings to prevent jumpers off 3rd floor a few months ago.

Well I’m 19 and I asked him about SF. He told me you had to be 21, when I was sure I only had to be 20. Info packet said 20. I wanted to ask him about the actual process, what the duties of 18b might entail, etc. general stuff he didn’t really have an answer for.
Yeah that’s why it’s tough, because I know the army is a better fit because there’s more opportunities for SF, however both can offer me college.
There was another recruiter that talked to me before he showed up late that was actually competent, and was able to tell me part of what I was asking about.

Go Marines. I'll see you there. Remember to listen to inst

>He told me you had to be 21
you do have to be 21

>what the duties of 18b might entail, etc
he honestly probably doesn't know, you need to look into 18X before you start looking at 18B

goarmy.com/careers-and-jobs/browse-career-and-job-categories/combat/special-forces-weapons-sergeant.html

Then he needs to read the info packets he gives out, and thanks

You totally sound like an Alpha Chad. You'd definitely make it through selection

101st has been air assault for a while now.
A method of insertion that is actually used for something other than recreation.

im 25 but really skinny and have a babyface so i look like im 16. would it be stupid for me to enlist?

>would it be stupid for me to enlist?
no

If you have to ask about this then yes it would be stupid

im not very strong and i feel like i'd feel super out of place compared too everyone else. should i get fit first? also is 25 too old to enlist?

?
I just want consistent information

>also is 25 too old to enlist?
no, I'm 27 about to join the air guard

If you can do 25-30 pushups and run a mile in 10 minutes you're fit enough. If not, workout/run until you can. No 25 isn't.

I processed 360 recruits 2 weeks ago and had 40 that could do 3 or less pullups, and they still made it. Week before that I had 500+ and had 60. Only 7 were dropped, worked out for a week, got stronger and tried again, then made it. Also I routinely have 50-90 man platoons and typically have 17-29 year olds. This moment I have 5 over 23 y/o and about 10 that already got degrees. It comes down to keep your head low, stay in a group, and you'll be fine.

maybe consider another MOS beside SF

All the resources I’m pulling up including the goarmy pamphlet about SF still indicate 20 years old by the time your airborne and AIT are done

Why?

Shit. I'm a guardfag recruit and even our ds can cuss

a lot of people wash out of the Q course

Canuck here.
I'm 24 and training to enlist in the RCAF. However, I don't want to be disillusioned. Is it worth it to join ?

I want to pilot a jet and being in a heli or multi-eng doesn't bother me,but the fact that we have equipment that's older than me don't have much flying hours and as I've heard we mostly push papers, I'm still reluctant to make the leap

That’s fair. I’m interested in it due to the weapons involved and because SF coincides with languages, which is something else I like. I might go infantry first to see if military life is even for me though.

I looked it up, he didn't die in the dryer. He was hazed to an extreme point and killed himself. The story is pretty fucked up. Hazing is to be expected but I don't see how anyone could justify what happened to that kid. His drill instructor got 10 years.

Maybe contact an SF recruiter

>coincides with languages, which is something else I like
look into 37F or 38B

I’ll give that a shot
I’ll also look into that, but SF is a passion I have that I don’t want to miss out on

Should I go enlisted or commission as an officer?
Every joke I heard about army officers is how they have no respect and dont know what theyre doing, I really want the camaraderie of my fellow soldiers and not be ostracized, plus OCS means I cant choose my MOS like an enlisted.
But Im 24, have 2 degrees that I want to get some use out of and Id feel like not cashing in on OCS would be a huge regret. I think I could be a good officer if I listen to my NCOs and try my best to take care of my men. I want to be like Dick Winters or Nate Fick

Attached: 1547608969807.png (645x773, 43K)

whats the best thing a new recruit can do for basic? I was told to volunteer for everything I can right away rather then push it off on somebody else so over time I know more of what im doing and DS's will leave me alone

>I’ll also look into that, but SF is a passion I have that I don’t want to miss out on
The Army has a lot more SOF careers than just SF

one of my best friends in the marines was very wealthy, but he realize he had the silver spoon in his mouth and never really earned anything so he enlisted. It was a real culture shock, and he got his ass kicked, but he got what he was soul searching for just like everyone else that signed up

and they all get to suck each other off as well

ive dealt with good and bad recrutiers for army, navy and air force. Doesnt matter how they sell it, pay attention to what theyre selling

The only way you can obtain that type of camaraderie is to go Combat Arms.

SOF or SF would work for me, but the end goal is SF
The marine recruiter told me that they have college classes held on base, don’t know if the same thing is in the army or not because the recruiter wasn’t as in depth

I'm looking into SF as well, but I'm going to go in as something else and then drop a packet. Do your research. Selection is an intensely grueling process that you need to condition yourself mentally and physically for. You can reach the end and not get selected. You will be doing PT all day and some land nav. If you drop out voluntarily you won't be able to return. For me I'm going to get in and then spend a year or so doing hardcore conditioning in terms of cardio, strength training, rucking, etc. It's very difficult but doable if you plan accordingly.

I’m actually going to save that and get my very athletic friend to help me write down a cardio/calisthenics plan to get the ball rolling faster

This

My soul was searching for cigarette butts in the motorpool parking lot

He did have a drinking problem a little. Fly under the radar, dont be last. Dont have to be first, but dont be last. You can get tuition assistance in Marines to go to college. Hybrid or online or resident night classes. They pay you x amount per semester year and if you use it all up, wait for it to reset. Easy to get a degree while you're in, then go MECEP to become an officer.

> SF is a passion I dont want to miss out on
No offense fella, but thats like saying youre gunna join the US olympic team as a freestyle diver but cant swim.

There are blokes who have done multiple combat tours, fit as fuck, squared away and all that and still fail selection. Zero to hero (civvie street to operator) overwhelmingly results in failure, and especially if you go in assuming youll be SF off the bat, everything else will seem like shit, so when you fail you are either unhappy with your next choice or you discharge completely.

A much better thing to do would be to join the infantry, do a few years, maybe do Airborne or Rangers or whatever you guys have, and generally be an outstanding infanteer in all regards, all the while building up your fitness and robustness. Then, when you go for selection, your body is fit and robust, your mind is strong and all the infanteering stuff (nav, field admin etc) is one less thing to worry about, so when you get chucked out of a wagon with a shitty map and a compass into the middle of nowhere, you arent in flap state 50 like other people will be.

Just some advice from someone whose seen a lot of people do the whole SF thing wrong and a few people do it right.

Don't enlist. Get a Commission. Best jobs, best pay, and best puss.

Attached: Military OCS.jpg (823x343, 68K)

I mention here I might go infantry first And here I say That SOF would work too, but the end goal is SF

I’m aware it takes a lot and is not a fast or easy process, but it’s something I’m willing to go after regardless

Oh and I forgot to say thank you for the input
