Guns, you pillock. Toss it overboard if your destination port doesn't allow locked up firearms.

But then you won't have one when you leave port again.

Duct tape a couple onto your keel and retrieve them once you leave.

Just hide it in a waterproof box secured to the bottom of the hull. No one’s gonna bother to search a civilian vessel with scuba divers.

yarrrr

I wonder if it would be profitable to set up a floating gun store on a boat or nearby island in international waters and sell arms to boaters

Narco torpedo is better.

With this being said, you absolutely will do double digit jail time if a country catches you with a narco torpedo full of guns.

What is a watertight barrel mounted to your keel? Man, it's fucking obvious nu-Jow Forums is too young and didnt grow up watching MacGyver. You guys just dont have IDEAS anymore.

>inb4 MacGyver didnt like guns

Why would you need a motherfucking narco torpedo for like two ARs, a dozen mags and a shotgun or something?
Thats literally an ammount of guns you could fit into a large Pelican case

so you have nothing in your boat, customs will check the inside of your boat everywhere if they feel like it, but they won't search in the water

Been done

Ingenious

If you've had the idea, what are the odds port authorities know about it?

Can navies not fly sigint aircraft to look for the locator buoy transmitting signals?

I've heard that a lot of Caribbean countries heavily regulate pistols and rifles but have fairly lax regulations when it comes to shotguns because they're seen as more of a farm tool than a weapon.

link? proofs?

1. Lift boat out of water
2. fix sleek gun container to keel
3. give it an aquadynamic and camouflaged shape with fiberglass and epoxy
4. paint it like the rest of the keel
5. ???
6. Profit

That's where you wrong kiddo. MacGyver ain't boomer tv, its "use your fucking brain" tv

>customs will check the inside of your boat everywhere if they feel like it
We are still talking about a case thats mounted underneath the waterline to the outside of the hull. Do they x-ray civie sailing vessels? Do they check them with divers? Fucking idiots here man...

google it nigga.

> If you are sailing in the Caribbean, you will be sailing to many countries with a Spanish (not Anglo Saxon) heritage. Guns are a macho thing. Customs agents like them. If you are required to check your guns, you will very likely find that they have been taken out for a little target practice when you get them back. If you get them back.

> Many experienced cruisers advise that you disable your firearm, in the presence of the authorities, prior to handing them over for "safekeeping". Ask for a receipt.

The eternal island niggerjewspic.

Is it worth the money?

actually nvm this was hard to google, here

I mean, if you could catch the boat in the act of recovering the thing, probably.

> Columbia:
> Colombian law prohibits tourists and business travelers from bringing firearms into Colombia. The penalty for illegal importation and/or possession of firearms is three to ten years in prison.

> Mexico:
> Vessels entering Mexican waters with firearms or ammunition on board must have a permit previously issued by the Mexican Embassy, or a Mexican consulate. Mariners do NOT avoid prosecution by declaring their weapons at the port of entry.

Definitely something you want to investigate carefully before setting sail to some foreign port with your funs.

How about "flare" guns?

>Emits a GPS signal
Need better tech reporters.

Well, they most likely mean that it transmits a radio signal that broadcasts its position as measured by an on board GPS. It’s wrong, but not egregiously innacurate.
