I wanted to buy a really cool shotgun, it takes 870 furniture and saiga mags, cool right? Wrong, it's sold by a company that does imports which means it's either Chinese potmetal or Turk trash. I was going to ask if I should roll the dice but then autism kicked in and I started to wonder, why is it, or rather, how is it that in less than half a decade the most advanced country in MENA managed to acquire the stereotype of making barely functional garbage so quickly that guns that would be worth $2k if made in America can't sell for $200. Could someone explain?

The problem is that the most advanced country in MENA (I would have thought that was Israel, but tbf they are separate entity) is still a country in MENA, which is gods off-cut bin. The only good Turkish guns are guns that were jigged by someone else, like their H&K knockoffs. If they have to do the math and material science themselves, they struggle.
