Working on this. It's Slampig, and it's as ugly as they come. It looks like top one now. Considering trying to replace the AR buffer tube with a walnut dowel finished to match the furniture, and swap out the SB brace for a Tailhook.
Pic is just a idea. Dowel will be cut to make 13½" LOP, and grain would be straight, tight, and strong.

I need the brace occasionally. I'm a disabled vet with limited use of my left hand and forearm. I have other stocked shotguns, but I can't always use them.
A Shockwave with a brace has made it so I can shoot pumps again. I haven't been able to in a long time, and I missed that crunch!

I dig it but you can definitely feel he's not as into it as he used to be which isn't to say the quality of content is lacking but that there's a melancholic vibe in this album that I can only compare to when you take opiates on a tolerance and there's a high yes but you almost don't care because it's not what it used to be and that familiar disappointment it what finally gets you off it all together.

Yupper. I have an SB Tactical S.O.B on this Shockwave, and I use a Tailhook brace on an AR pistol. I like the Tailhook much better, but it would be rough on the shoulder, (when I CAN shoulder it), if I used it on the Shockwave.
This S.O.B. is perfect for the few times I've been able to shoulder fire my Shockwave. Nice soft rubber, and it flexes when you fire it, (see pic). I got off 5 rounds of hot slug loads before my left hand went numb. Works best if you hold it kinda high on your shoulder, (which also puts the bead sight right on top of the receiver.
Great brace for this build.
