Looks like a maintenance nightmare

Explain

I wonder if the Army will be open to this idea for FARA?

what's that glass thingy that goes up? also is that a three seater?

For a second, I thought it was a fork-tail copter.

>Chinese taking photos
aaaaand they're already building a version themselves

retard, stop posting.

Someone can't take a joke, calm down chang

>But call him a Chink and you will be astonished at how he recoils, how injured he is, how he suddenly shrinks back

Maybe we should just buy Chinese?

What about comanche?

I'm a new fag in helicopter terms, and my short google search doesn't show much. Care to explain what's a fork-tail copter, or link to to an explanation?

it's a two seater, the gunners seat rotated through 180 deg. kind of a useless gimmick

We should start building meme vehicles so the Chinese will waste their time and money. Oh wait...

They cant even match the Apache lol.

Comanche is dead, and it has been so for a while.

Cool, but it looks like they could save some weight on the cockpit by making it less boxy, unless there's some overriding need I'm not aware of, there's no reason for it to be quite so spacious. Also it looks like that turret has a somewhat limited horizontal traverse and I can't even tell if it has vertical traverse at all, any better images of it?

Gee Bill, three rotors?

>all those rotors
Reminds me of the helicopter boss you fight at the end of twisted metal black.

OBL raid suggests otherwise. It exists in some form

>fuckhuge gunports with tail rotors mounted on the ends
>guns mounted in the side intakes
>a fucking bush guard with spikes
>rocket pods mounted where the landing gear should be
>extra fins under the gunports
>giant opening in the front with another rocket pods
Jesus christ how the fuck does even work?

I have no idea but it reminded me of OP's pic.

No dual-top rotors? They've got just about every other one right now

I can't imagine being the gunner. I would throw up.
