The CZ52 is like the weakest pistol design that the Czechs have ever devised, it's just not very good.
It's designed originally for 9mm Luger, then converted to 7.62mm Tokarev in a not very great manner, the locking surfaces for the rollers just aren't strong, the firing-pin is soft like iron, and the decocker is pretty iffy.

There are many good Czech pistol designs (the CZ75B is my favorite), but the CZ52 is just not it. There are better quality firing pins available on the market, and I figure that if you're a machinist, maybe you could machine yourself a new slide with less thin areas for the rollers to lock into, but that one is hypothetical and is not something readily available on the market, and it leaves the pistol just not that great, beyond its slick looks.

The M57 is a Tokarev clone from Serbia, by Zastava, featuring a manual safety, which original Tokarev pistols do not have.
They also make the M70, which is the same gun but in 9mm Luger.

Well yeah there's that too, just don't dry fire it... or drop it.. or keep it cocked and locked. In all honesty though I have never had an issue with my cz in over 2000 rounds, plus I got it for 150 bucks
