I've been firing 9mm too much and I want my first Red Dawn rifle, but spend less than $750 after tax for it. PSA has a 'deal' of $600 and a FFL fee. Is that worth it for my 1st AK or nah? Should I drop an extra $2-300 at my local shop and get the guarantee that I'll get good engineering or trust that this thing will last?
Also any recommendations I am all for, I'm probably buying this AK tonight unless someone can tell me that PSA is bullshit and has sauce of a better deal.
thats a crack in the locking surface, which locks the bolt closed and is one of the most pressure bearing parts of the rifle. if that is cracked, that WILL lead to a catastrophic failure of the front trunnion, and will be very dangerous to the user
if you are spending arsenal money then just get a galil ace. otherwise get a wasr not this psa bullshit

>ak rifle is good! >ak rifle is strong >BUT 95% OF AKS WILL EXPLODE KILLING YOU DEAD UNLESS YOU SPEND $1000 ON THE BRAND I LIKE!

they aren't aks tho, they are cast pieces of shit dressing up like AKs, you wouldn't call some knockoff AR made en masse in khyber pass AR-15s cause they look like them, they are shitty copies of ARs
Yay. I have seen only good things about it. I am thinking about buying the FDE version friday.

Go buy a RH-10 they are made to the same specs as Wasrs by Cugir factory but with just the front sight post and gas block integrated together. The wood is pretty shitty but that can be replaced. Wasr quality for as low as $563 seems pretty fucking good to me. dahlonegaarmory.com/products/rifles-century-ri3036-n-787450474888-2448
