Seems legit.

Bro I love the 1x2 images you used in paint

I have a homemade 410 pistol if it counts

Op here is the thing. If you dont know how to make a shotgun after a trip to your local hardware supply store by now you are in for some hard times.

I was contemplating reloading some .40 shotshells and making a shotgun for them.

Anybody can make a shotgun.

The trick is to make a shotgun that doesn't suck.

I want to build a shotgun, but I dont know :(. Someone knows?

Why do you need a shotgun?

This shit again.

This is just from the shotguns, they tend to be pretty low end. Higher end illegal gunsmiths exist everywhere, pushing out Lutys like crazy.

That's actually really cool. What is that shell though? Is that a .410 and the gun is just huge?

Looks like it. Not sure about materials either, maybe it just needs to be that fucking hueg for whatever its made of.

Attached: homemadetakedownshotgun.jpg (979x533, 98K)

hows this work? im thinking cobray terminator where you pull the barrel forwards and it slams back when the trigger is pulled. bit confused on how the shell would stay in though.

It's exactly like a cobray according to the description.

EgygooseHARDCORE

First firearm I ever shot.

Attached: P1200036.jpg (4000x3000, 2.73M)

And by "shot" I mean "accidentally discharged when fiddling with the firing mechanism while it was loaded"

Attached: P1200035.jpg (4000x3000, 2.76M)

this is a true uganda style bush nigger tier gun but better than nothing

This is actually version 1.1, version 1 that blew up in our hands was worse. We had basically no tools and a single 12mm shotshell (a shorter .410) I recovered from my grandpas' toolbox when he died. Barrel was aluminium.

Attached: masapproved.jpg (1500x2000, 1.54M)

What pipe did you use for the new version?

It is probably hard to type a reply without fingers.

>Need
B-but Uncle Joe said to buy a shotgun, buy a shotgun.

The barrel was the same, it held up surprisingly well and never failed. 12mm shells are meant for hunting small birds and very low pressure. The problem was everything else. The "bolt" was cut from a moldy broomhandle with screws sticking out of it as the firing pin and handle/trigger, and it rode in a PVC pipe by mean of a bungee cord. To load the gun you had to cock it and wiggle the round in there, a quite tedious process.
We tried to do our first test fire remotely, first with a string but it didn't work, then with a piece of scrap rebar from behind a discarded 2CV hood, then by hand from up close but it wouldn't work. The Bungee cord would bundle up and block the bolt. Everytime we wanted to tweak it we had to extract the shell with a knife, so at some point we ran out of patience and my friend just tried to shorten the cord with the round chambered while I was holding the bolt back manually. Either either I let go or the bolt unscrewed itself or the tape on it slipped off, and the gun went off in our hands. Luckily it was pointed toward some hills and it was small shot.
Under pressure the plastic part of the shell stuck to the barrel while the brass part was blown backward, shatering the bolt and the PVC receiver. Pieces of wood and PVC probably nearly missed us. We weren't wearing earpro so we could talk and both of us suffered some earing loss from this.

That was a few years ago, we were 20 something and incredibly stupid. We could also have made a 4 winds shotgun quite easily and safely bet we had no idea those existed.

Good times.

Attached: failure.jpg (1800x1350, 1.77M)

Oh fug no. Maybe if you mounted it on the end of a pole and pulled back the hammer with a string or something. Jesus.

>Good times
You are absolutely right.

It sure looks like it don't it

I would not try to use an Orion flaregun for any kind of live ammunition, even with a proper steel barrel.
Shit locks into the plastic frame and that thing can't tolerate anything at all.

if thats a 22 thats perfectly safe

Hardware store specials are a crude solution. 2 peices of pipe and a screw

i'm pretty sure that one eventually rattled the hinge apart but it was fine

Attached: flare2.jpg (1102x1124, 755K)

this is completely disgusting and the sheer amount of bondo as a structural element is so gross

but it probably works so I have to give it that.

i wouldnt use an orion, just spend like 50$ and get an old steel eastern block flaregun instead

for a retarded drunken mod use what you want to destroy

Ugly, would look much better with 16" barrel and traditional wood stock

Here we go, the guns of the next generation!

>damascus barrel

alax ran a few dozen rounds of .22 through one before the frame cracked, but yeah.

I love everything but the brace. The wood is damn nice and the best shield too. I like the wear it’s got. Very aesthetic

This looks like a fucking album cover

>next generation
revolver rifles were tried in the Civil War. powder burns on the left hand kinda put the kibosh on them, unfortunately. love the way they look.
