The word you're looking for is prosecuted.

Not that user but I'd have my society's military set up in such a way that military service is the pathway to full citizenship, stuff like voting rights in federal level elections and election being available only to those who serve. Supersoldiers would make up an elite branch of that military, a voluntary next step after a full term of standard military service for those few who are both exceptional and also bleed military to the point where they never want to leave. These candidates would be selected on the basis not only of higher than average intelligence and emotional stability but also based on loyalty to the founding principles of the country, nobody who doesn't breath, bleed, and piss patriotism would even get a second look as an applicant. You'd get fewer members than if you made every grunt into a super soldier but the quality of those soldiers will be better and they will be much less likely to revolt unless the government itself has become corrupted, in which case it is desirable for them to revolt as a necessary function of returning the government to it's founding principles.
The universe is amoral, makes no judgement, does not naturally include concepts like fairness, and has nothing to say on the matter of individual strategies for species durability because in and of itself it is not an intellect which can make judgements. The reason that occurs is because you can't keep a human soldier in condition and in morale for long periods of time.

A soldier that has fought in two deployments is clearly a better choice than one that has fought in none, but you'll have more and more difficulty getting experienced soldiers back into the fray if they aren't taken out by injury, social casualty or simple fatigue.

Now what if you could design a being from the ground up to be easily repaired, durable, react positively to stress on a biological level and be wired to take satisfaction in their cadre and combat?

Completely replace your front line with "volunteers", and stick your 18 year old mouth breathers where anybody will do.

The biggest issue with this kind of stuff is the thing that stops most cool stuff being a thing:
Cost
With standard soldiers, the government only have to care for the soldiers for a relatively short period of time. Be it for 4 years, or a career of about 30, the government has to pay them, give them uniform and equipment, and give them jobs to do.

With genetically engineered soldiers, the soldiers have to be cared for from birth. They will need to be feed, clothed, taught everything they need to know, housed, kept to standard, have their healthcare and then equipped.

Even if they are made to grow up fast, this will be a big drain on resources for just some more special infantry when they can just put any random johnny in a uniform if he passes the checks, then have far less training to make him a soldier
