what if you made a rail/suppressor combo with the same diameter so that the suppressor was fully constrained by the fore end and couldn't whip? The rail section at 12 o'clock is a decent beam for stiffness. Like the exact opposite of free floating. I'm pretty retarded normally, is this retarded?

Ditch the gas block front post, the A2 grip, and the poortex and replace with a low profile gas block, an Aimpoint pro, and a BCM or fagpul grip.

Hand guard is questionable and you'd probably do better with one covering the gas block

I'm the guy that posed the question. Ok, the fore end becomes a toasty boi, what's the problem? Put a VFG on that close to the receiver or magwell grip it. Quad rail has a pretty good surface area for heat dissipation to the atmosphere.

Or, have the contact be just the last inch or so of the suppressor and fore end to minimize conduction.

Its good for what I'm using this rifle for, its not going to be as high speed as Vortex RZR HD 1-6 but I wanted an optic that was going to spend most of its time at 8x which could also do 1x when needed.

Free float hand guards with bayonets look horrific user. If you want a bayonet go A2 FSB and drop in handguard for classic aesthetics. Don't try to turn 1 rifle into everything or you're just going to have a mess.
