How do you find the trigger compared to the gen 4 ? Is the cutout in the grip annoying ?

I'm going to buy a G17 but I've only tested the gen 4 so far and I can't find people who own / ranges that rent a gen 5 glock.

New gen 5s don't have the cutout, but honestly man it's still a Glock. Unless you put like 250 rounds back to back between a gen 5 and a gen 4 you really can't tell the difference. I do like ambi slide locks, I don't like the flared magwell, I do like the finish, no finger grooves don't really make a difference to me, but I do like the slide beveling

Not saying I've ever done this because I am a good citizen, it is uncomfortable to carry a pistol and know that using it would mean legal trouble in a state where it wouldn't otherwise. If I get searched or stopped for whatever reason I'll go to jail without ever having done anything wrong and that sucks.

Dark Star is my favorite because their holsters are vacuum-molded. This means the gun snaps into place when holstering and excellent retention. It's alsl extremely comfortable. (Side note, the sight channel looks tall enough for suppressor height sights, which isn't something I specifically requested, but is nice to have)
