Hello user, I hope your weekend has been as pleasant as mine.
Here is a picture of my knife.
Say something nice about it.
Post a picture of your weapon and we will say something nice about it.
Because an armed society is a polite society. And /k needs to practice being polite.
Hello user, I hope your weekend has been as pleasant as mine

Eh, I dont care, it looks and performs great, sturdy ass knife.
It served the marines well in the Pacific Theatre.

I agree, have not gotten around to making the scales, or the kydex sheath yet. Bought it, stripped the coating, now it's been sitting in a drawer for the last three months :/
yeah i need a better sheath still. got the scales on and called it good enough for now. might get around to it for camping this summer
>Say something nice about it.
Well, at least you don't need a weapon license to buy it and you actally use it.
>Because an armed society is a polite society.
Excuse me, but that's bullshit.
This is mine
>tfw my only knife is a barely functional 20 dollar amazon piece of metal vaguely in the shape of a knife and labeled as m9
convince me to not rope myself
>convince me to not rope myself
dont do it, maybe you not gay like your parents told you :)
You obviously do care or your first words wouldn't have been an exclamation of how much you don't care.
Wasnt really an exclamation but okay retard
My collection of fixed blades.
- Mora Classic #2 - the second fixed blade knife I've bought on purpose. It's good but the sheath fucking sucks. They would do better if they replace that belt piece with a riveted leather loop like on Classic #3. That's why I made a loop out of spare shoelace. I tried to urban carry it like a knife with "burdock sheath" but it's not that comfortable.
- Marttiini Lynx 138. My first fixed blade. A nice knife, but I don't trust that belt loop. Also, I grew up disliking the puukkos with any attempts to make them more "ergonomic" with finger grooves. Still it's a good knife.
- Iisaki Jarvenpaa wartime puukko - Mom found it in my grandpa's storage. Since I've never heard that grandpa ever fought finns, I guess he got that knife in a fair exchange with some other soldier.
-Finka Zavyalova (Zavyalov's finka) by Russkiy Bulat - a modern replica of a late 1800s knife. Main differences are the wood (wenge instead of ebony), bevel (original knives had no bevel and the cutting edge was formed by the blade cheeks) and sheath (typical sheath from Vorsma - very loose). Today I think that I should have saved money for something else, but what's done is done. Probaly someday I'll try to regrind it.
>usmc
that ain't a knoife
this is a knoife
What's a good work knife that's also good for self-defense? I've been wanting a Kabar, but it's too big for what I need it for.
KABAR Short with synthetic grippy rubbery handle. it's 5" instead of 7.25" or whatever
>good work knife that's also good for self-defense
Any puukko with >9 cm blade and carbon steel.
Eh, that nife is k.
Thats a shitty gen one, East German gen 2s are much better
