H&K MARK 23

>25 years later
>still no more reliable and rugged gun that is match accurate

Why hasn't anyone been able to improve on this absolute unit of a weapon system?

Have you ever shot one OP? My guess is no, and even if you have you wouldn't be able to tell if it's good or not because you suck. You would likely not be able to shoot it better than a taurus G2.

Glock 17 gen 5.

Because in spite of HKs motto being "no compromise", having your do-everything pistol being the same size as a desert eagle is a massive fucking compromise that makes people not want to use it. On top of that, offensive handguns are a meme, if you wanted to only use a pistol you'd take a high capacity wondernine and if you want to discretely shoot dogs you'd use a dedicated weapon with a massive can, IE mp5sd, which is incidentally exactly what happened.

sounds like you just have small girl hands

>Have you ever shot one OP?

Yes. I own one.

Hey, Idgaf about the size personally, but people who tendered for it sure did. Like it or not, nobody wants to cart something that size around MENA; so they didn't and now everyone uses glocks.

What happened to your fingernail user?

this. talk the talk vs walk the walk. the real doers don't want a giant .45.

Every time the MK23 comes up, some fags who have never seen it, held it or shot it and have no idea how they are used or if/when/where offer bullshit opinions of no value.

MK25 or an FNX-tacticool™

they chose glocks because its the lightest, thats it. Anyone who dis agrees is an utter moron who doesnt know what theyre talking about
anyone who makes a lighter handgun, or the same weight but with actual controls, will have glocks thrown out the fucking window

they'll also have to be cheap enough to offset the added training for retards they hand official guns out to.

I love the Mark 23 as for why no one has improved on it when was the last time a military sought tenders for something similar?

No one other than HK themselves could improve it and there was no need, the MARK 23 is still perfect.

Mu guess would be cancer.

>when was the last time a military sought tenders for something similar?
When they adopted the Mk24 Mod 0.

he dropped something on it, that blood takes forever to grow out of the cuticle and nail.

Every single time a kocksucker flagrantly defends his buyers remorse cinderblock because he spent his allowance on it and can't defend it's terrible design and obsolescence. It's a desert eagle sized fuddy five. That alone makes it horrible no matter how bomb proof it is.

>the MARK 23 is still perfect

>No 10mm version

no they would take a five-seven.

Fuck lmao even glocks are sturdier than that. MK25 then and I’ve actually shot hundreds of rounds through one

HK did when they made the USP in logical calibers in a handgun not the size of a barn. You'd be better served by a long slide glock 40 or an EAA hunter if you want a giant pistol that bridges the gap between rifle and handgun.

Mk23 a nice

>just poorfags seething
what's new

too bad it isnt any more accurate than a glock 41

and yes i have both

kinda cool how it slowly grows out with your fingernail until it's off your skin and you can cut it right off as you trim your nails

For the same weight (1.7kg) and a little extra length you could have a B&T MP45 with a shoulder stock and twice the capacity.

Yeah.

I mean, if the material is resilient enough and doesn't deform permanently, what's the big deal?

Hey man, they made it to the exact specifications put out for a trial that was looking for an offensive handgun, and it won the trial. They made a gun that filled the role and requirements put out for them to follow.

Can’t conceal carry that

About as easy to conceal as a mk 23 is.

If you don't want the US mil spec just get the USP, it's still German mil spec

No way, you're full of shit.

not other user but that looks shorter than a mk23

Aren't you just agreeing with those two posters? They said nobody wants to carry something with that mass and bulk, and you argue that if someone were to make a mk23 that doesn't have the mass and bulk of a mk23, then people wouldn't use glocks anymore. Like, duh, theres no argument to be had. Nobody makes such a thing so nobody uses the mk23 and so they use glocks.

GRIDS

post with timestamp and grouping

HK already made the HK45 which is superior in literally every single possible way.

Except perhaps... In the sole reason why the MK25 was made for... Extreme durability.
