It is 2,600 tons. In comparison, the Russian 22385 corvette is 2500 tons. The Russian is shorter by 1 meter.

The Philippine corvette currently carries 4 Anti ship missiles (150km range), 1 76mm gun, 1 30mm gun, 4 MANPADS and 6 torpedoes. The CIWS and VLS are Fitted For But Not With (FFBNW) which means they need to buy DLC with Steam Points.

The Russian corvette carries 8 VLS for Anti Ship, Land Attack or Anti Sub missiles, 16 VLS for Anti Air (150km 9M96E2), 1 100mm gun, 8 small torpedoes and 2 AK-630M CIWS.

The Russian frigate is cheaper by around 20-25 Million dollars if sold domestically. Export should be at around the same price point as how much the Philippines paid for the South Korean ship.

It'll look real good as a new reef bed after the PLAN has its way with her.

Duterte is trying to play both sides to get better treatment from the US and China. At the end of the day, they have close military ties with the US, due in part to them being a colony for a couple decades in the early 20th century, with US troops assisting them in various conflicts including most recently in Marawi.

There's also the whole mutual defense treaty that's still very much in force.
