I got busted down to pvt from lcpl for "unauthorized ammunition in the barracks" also sent me to the brig for 30 days a D cell for a week. My 1stsgt was a douchebag. Still went on two deployments after that, got back up to lcpl and eas'd honorably. Didn't get my good cookie tho.

Accidentally brought 10 .22 rounds back from leave. Not the gun just a mag. And one 556 round stuck in my gear that I didn't bring with me. That's literally the only thing I got charged for. Everyone I talked to about it agreed that it was harsh. My BC and sgtmaj didn't give a fuck. They were supposed to give my 2 months pay reduction but ended up not getting a penny for those two months. The only person who actually tried to help was the company commander who I was attached to for a deployment.
