>The governor's office issued a press release saying the executive action would involve "nearly two dozen new initiatives and reforms" in four categories: new oversight and data sharing; reducing community gun violence; combatting mass shootings; and address the rising number of gun-related domestic incidents and self-inflicted shootings. >The governor's office went on to reiterate his support of a federal assault weapons ban, and added that he would press for the General Assembly to pass a red flag law, a firearm storage mandate, and a statewide universal background check system.
This almost certainly won't stand in court, but it'll probably be in effect for a while. Pour one out for the home state of nuggetfest.
And I just recently started at my first job out of college in central PA. I had wanted to stay in PA because of family and the still decent gun laws. If I knew this was going to happen a year ago, I would have jumped ship during my job search.

>Throwing in more gun control laws instead of nigger control laws
Email 'em, write letters to 'em, and make damned sure you call 'em. Red flag laws open avenues for abuse and violate the fourth amendment. Firearm storage mandates, aside from largely unenforceable, expose home owners to greater dangers during a home invasion. AWB target weapons that are used vastly more frequently for lawful purposes than unlawful purposes: ask anyone in favor of these bills why we're going after rifles when hammers and knives kill more people every year.

>news reports it started with a narcotics arrest warrant >civilians rescued from the house >all wearing niqabs Why were all these muslims living with this one drug dealer? I'm confused lmao

20 years ago, the Wyoming Valley used to be one of the largest >95% urban areas in the country. Growing up, I hardly saw non Whites except in Scranton or Wilkes-Barre. Now that the Boomers are dying off and the slumlords get their houses for cheap, the whole valley is being invaded. I grew up and still reside in the same neighborhood that my father, grandfather, and great grandfather resided in. I used to walk around and be greeted as my father's son by old chatting Italians on their front porches. We used to all walk to our neighborhood church and congregate on the street outside afterwards for smalltalk. Some of the older folks might invite us for lunch, and my father would latter return the favor by sending me back to their with a bottle of wine or garden. The lawns were clean and the houses well kept.
But I'm afraid for the future. Now, the church is closed and there aren't many old-timers left. No one knows each other or really want to even engage in small talk. The front porches are empty, with owners too preoccupied with their T.V. set. My neighborhood no longer has an identity, it's just another faceless place for wageslaves to live. Blacks and Hispanics are starting to move in. They don't maintain their yards or houses. They're loud at all hours, constantly shouting vulgarities. They walk up the middle of the street visibly intoxicated in the middle of the night yelling. Ever since I scolded and almost got in a fight with black youths putting trees across train tracks nearby, the youths at the top of the hill will sometimes call me a "cracker" as I walk past their houses. I had always been polite and said hello as I walked by, but half of them don't even reply back to me.
I don't want my town to turn into the next Hazleton, the changes are happening so fast.
They're going to fuck up Wyoming and Idaho and places on the interior next. Hell I heard on Rogan them talking about how nice Idaho was and that it's this little discovered slice of heaven and that the locals would be pissed. Already know a hyper liberal girl who ended up moving there. And I just heard as well about how the most thriving housing markets are fucking interior cities in Ohio or Iowa or Kansas.

How do you think the 2A even still exists? It ain't NRA bribes, NRA doesn't even hit the top 100 lobbying groups in the country and they spend pocket change on supporting individual politicians. Antis bitch and moan but whenever the chips are down 2A supporters remind their state and federal congressmen and women that if they don't protect the 2A then a very fucking motivated voting bloc will go for someone else next primary season who WILL protect 2A.
Dylan Ross
PAnon here. We are surrounded on 3 sides of us by gun grabber states it was only a matter of time. But if it can happen to us it's gonna happen to y'all as well too it's only a matter of time

Unfortunately no, It's the state of thousands of neighborhoods across the country. It's sad to see the people give the land, under which their ancestors toiled and died in mines to feed their families, away to foreigners with no connection or respect to the original inhabitants.

>PAnon here that's fucking all of us here. welcome. on one hand we can move to ohio or west virginia, or we can stand up for the second amendment in PA. stand not only for our state, but help protect WV and OH and other states.

that's all of eastern PA now except for the rich areas
Normally I'd be worried about the overwhelming fudd numbers bending over for the background shit, but if it interferes with bubba, and jim selling each other their old durr rifles, and turkey gats, then we might have a fighting chance.

>The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned. > Shall not be questioned Most of these laws shouldn't go anywhere, but we can't take any chances.
If you want to have a real impact, push the fact all gun control disproportionately affects minorities and the black community, and only makes it harder for poor black folks to defend themselves. Blacks face disproportionate hardship from these kinds of laws and they only make it even easier for police brutality and injustice to affect the communities. Refer to the gun laws passed in CA in the 80s after the black panthers marched in the capital there, and that any "tightening" is just more racism in the name of safety. "Racist police just want to take your guns away and this is how they're doing it".
It's not entirely logical, but it's not meant to be - politicians and white liberals will literally drop what their doing to NOT be racist, as the social triggers for that are MUCH stronger than any "for the children" sentiment.
Parker Sanchez
>politicians and white liberals will literally drop what their doing to NOT be racist This. The anti-gunner movement is spearheaded by tons of liberal white women. Being called racist is their pokemon fire-on-leaf tier weakness
Daniel Johnson
The entire reason the 2A continues to exist is because the progun crowd is - pound-for-pound - significantly more politically engaged and activist than the average antigunner.
Not that you would know that. You just peddle bullshit about the system being corrupt despite having never tried to engage with it.

Y’all get what’s going on here, right? This isn’t about preventing gun crime. It’s about skirting the 4th amendment and getting to do a defacto warrantless search based on something simple as anything they can use against you on social media. People have been redflagged for as little as posting a picture of an AR they built on Twitter. Don’t commit wrong think or they will come for you. What’s even better is you do not get public council for this, so poor people that can’t lawyer up are especially fucked. There’s gunna be a whole new genre of “soccer mom” greentexts of anons getting v& because some lady sees them printing while mowing the lawn.
Leo Howard
this cyberpunk future sucks i want a gun arm

"The Democrats are the real racists" shtick will NEVER work. You cannot fight Liberalism with more Liberalism. You're just legitimizing the concept, which will only ever be used effectively to attack Whites. Unsuccessful minority groups will blame Whites for all their ills until you explicitly stand up for your own ethnic self interests
Writing representatives, meeting with representatives, and campaigning against representatives is how this entire system works. All of these people just want to keep their grip on power and status, and they'll blink if you convince them that you and enough of your buddies are against them on the issue to seriously threaten their incumbency.
any source on the dude getting red-flagged off of twitter? State is particularly important.
Christian Reed
Is that how you lot are gonna justify shooting up your local walmarts? :^)
Aiden Garcia
maybe you can't my pale friend. but I play the non-white suffering card against white liberals all the time, especially on the second amendment (cause I'm shit at arguing otherwise). they mostly don't have any response, but one asked me "why are you like this"
Whoa I can see you guys shooting up your local walmarts soon if this is what lives inside your head rent-feee

It was in Florida right after Parkland. They didn’t give the kids name, but his ex-gf accused him of “stalking” her on social media. They used the picture of the gun he had on twitter to get the ERPO issued
Nathan Ward
Does this mean I can de-facto get anyone i dislike stripped of their guns and 2A rights? Because this is the perfect "ruin your fucking life" "prank", with lower stakes than swatting.
Leo Johnson
why are you complaining if you're an air filter
Robert Rodriguez
Links? Specific details about why Red Flag laws are a constitutional garbage fire would be helpful. "Probable cause" is a hilariously low bar to clear, but even that seems like a stretch of the evidence.
Leo Smith
Incorrect assessment, Political affiliation is irrelevant. Most politicians are white, and most crime and "gun crime" is black. This is meant to associate any concept of gun control with racism, something with horrible optics if you're liberal. Example statement: > Just more racism in the name of safety. Cops don't care about keeping black areas safe, now politicians want their guns too? Should we start calling them massa' again while we're at it? The red flag laws work both ways. how many gun owner boomers have a LGBT offspring that suddenly is saying "worrying statements" and needs a wellness check, as well as dad losing the family heirloom shotgun? Gonna be real popular real fast. They're pretty blatant 4th and 2nd amendment violations, but the judicial branch takes it's sweet time these days.
Jeremiah Fisher
Whether white people or minorities stand up for their "own ethnic self interests" it will result in more minorities blaming white people for all of their problems. The solution to racial conflict isn't more racial conflict. It's weed.
Chase Hill
Basically yes. you *might* face filing a false police report, but most states do not have any specific consequences for malicious misuse. And it’s not black and white where they can prove anything to the contrary. All you have to do is stick to your guns that you “really thought they were a risk” because they own a gun and have a MAGA hat or whatever
Anthony Wilson
Or white people blaming minorities for their problems and shooting up walmarts as a result
I’m trying to find it I should have saved it because it legitimately pissed me off that some chick with a grudge just accused an ex of “online stalking” and they red-flagged him
Sebastian Martinez
depends state-to-state. Some Red Flags can only go through law enforcement, which puts you at risk if it's a blatantly false report. Other states allow an expanding range of people to petition for an ERPO, where they don't even have to swear an oath or ever be cross examined, lmao.
Federal HR 1236 just says "petitioner," meaning the federal verbage as it stands doesn't force states to only do reports through law enforcement. Shit's fucked.
There is jurisprudence allowing for suspensions / deprivations of constitutional rights "with due process." The existence of red flag laws is not an immediate judicial knockout, but a lot of the details in shit states like Maryland are. Who can report, how long the ex-parte hearings can get your guns taken, and a bunch of other details are highly suspect. Apellate state courts in Connecticut and Indiana have upheld, though.
Christian Murphy
You were probably red flagged for that
Ryan Thomas
In any system where one group is forced to compete as individuals, while another group is encouraged to organize collectively, the mere individuals will always lose.
