Anyone else wish they could've gone to the military after high school to discipline and life skills instead of having been flung directly into college where they promptly wasted the first two years fucking around?

I personally can never join the milltiary because I have ADHD and scoliosis.

>I have ADHD

Gay

>trolling this poorly in 2019
Go away. Nobody cares.

its real when you were prescribed high doses of adderall for 10 years

>its real when you were prescribed high doses of adderall for 10 years
Funny, I took it for 11 years, then went cold turkey and never looked back.

Bro he lost a lot of height during that weight cut

albeit with significant brain damage, especially if you took it during your youth.

Yeah, I would have been so happy selling my soul to ZOG

>did you want to invade Afghanistan for corporate mineral rights
No.
If you need the military for basic life skills and discipline you're in a world of hurt.

>Only son
>2006
>graduate college with finance degree.
>see rotc friends going off to have adventures.
>talk to recruiter
>have option 40 contract.
>Have to wait a few months.
>train for 3 months.
>go from 3 consecutive 9 min miles to 3 consecutive 7 min miles. Almost there.
>tell parents about what I’m doing.
>dad talks me out of it (Vietnam vet), says “you’re my one and only, for the family’s sake, think twice about the risk”
>get a job in Corp finance for a big real estate development company.

I regret not going for it to this day.

If you’ve got it, don’t waste it.

then why aryou in the fbi

I'm trying to get enlisted but the duck walk is fucking me hard, been training every day for it though. I go back to MEPS in a week.

Because I got kidnapped by CIA niggers in their '60 Chevy turbos

Yeah you sound pretty gay. Sure you’re not a daughter ?

Rather waste four years serving my country than live a life of comfort and regret

I wish i had weighed my options before College, yes. But 90% of the people on /k wouldnt stand a chance doing what he did and anything else in the military is a waste.

Why would I want to be a slave?

This. Ffs

You sound like a seething fat kid.

Marine recruiter wanted me pretty bad fresh out of high school because I tested really well, until they found out I was allergic to casein.
I was disappointed at the time, but in retrospect, I'm glad I was DQed.

The architect could fix that.

Sometimes I wish I would have joined the airforce. I know I could have been a pilot. I have always done very well in school and college, have 20/20 vision etc.
But I would not have enjoyed killing people for ZOG.

It’s easy to get discipline and life skills. Read stoic philosophers, apply their life lessons, one of which is to not be a shut in and experience life so you can pick up life skills.

>didn’t join the CG right after highschool
>idiot loser at 24 and sometimes meet people younger than I that served 4 years in the military already

Gonna go run right now that I think of it

What job were you trying to get as an officer? Honestly its good and sometimes its going to fucking suck.

When the time comes, they'll make sure you've come to love looking for ZOG. Don't you remember the ending of 1984?

>training for MEPS
The fuck? The only thing you should ever have to "train" on is lying to the doctor.

>promptly wasted the first two years fucking around
This comes down to the individual. The military isn't going to fix that. Shitheads of that grade don't make it through their first enlistment. Most new recruits that get kicked out is usually in the first year. A few of them don't even make through basic.

Lol by year two of college I had a security clearance, 10k saved up, a job while I was in college and 3 internship offers before December. If you think that you need the military for discipline then you lack discipline.

nobody cares what you did in 1971 you stupid fuck

I did go to the military right after High School. I left for boot camp 9 days after graduation when I was still 17.

Doing alright in my mid 20’s, but it literally isn’t an addiction.

actually theres a ton of really sound clinical evidence that adderall supports healthy development of dopaminergic pathways in a child's brain. not even memeing. look it up

I'm not even 30 zoomer. Some of us aren't abject failures

No. Well yes, but no. I wanted to enlist so badly. Planned my whole future around it during high school. Then when it came time to enlist I got denied due to a juvenile arrest. No branch could get me a waiver. So I became a firefighter/EMT and never looked back. Now I enjoy some of that spicy nostalgia and back pain without ever selling my soul to uncle sam.

im not a die-hard pol-tard and stopped going due to the amount of schizoism and sliding around there, but there are a lot of clinical studies that support a bunch of wacky shit.
the most obvious point being all this gay shit these past 2 decades

No, I wish I didn't enlist because all the people high up are retards out for themselves. Fuck this jazz.

He said he wanted op 40 and talked to a recruiter
He wasn't going officer
