There's one singular tiny ember in that firepit, probably the size of a cigar's. Street lamps are like small suns. There are at least 10x the amount of stars when you look at the sky. Shooting stars every 30-60 seconds are visible.

I've actually gotten them tight enough that they don't move even when sprinting, I did actually manage to knock one out tonight when I caught my rifle sling on the floorplate of the mag and pulled it up.
They're worth it for 200 bucks. I'd prefer if they made a 4x for the same price but it's still a good optic with good glass. Only thing that isn't as good as the higher end ones is you have to push a button to switch it between positions but its easy to do.

I keep both eyes open. One eye is adjusted to darkness and the other looks through the tube. The unaided eye gives me an idea of ambient light levels (so I know if I'm visible to other humans or not) and it's also handy if I need to transition to white light in a hurry. For example if I'm going through a building

I like to go to this street corner where I can get a good view of the stars at night. There is one house there that normally has the lights off but I went on Wednesday at 1AM and the lights were all on inside. I didn't want to stand out in the open since I was scared they would see me and call the police so I hid in the bushes and would occasionally stick my head out to see if I could notice any movement from the house. Well I guess they saw me anyway and someone called the police. They somehow didn't see me and they drove straight past. I immediately ran into the woods and hid until I felt safe and then I booked it home. I always carry a police scanner with me since I've feared something like this would happen but that night I had it on the wrong channel and didn't notice until it was too late. Now every night they are patrolling my neighborhood and I can't go for walks anymore.

You guys take all your best weapons, several mags for each, balaclavas and load up into a vehicle or vehicles.
You then proceed to go into public spaces like parks, railyards, under freeways and so forth to basically hang around and tactically larp like Chechen fratboys.

Well growing up we camped evey weekend... We learned survival techniques from my dad and my best friend's dad whom are both retired Rangers. All 5 of us grew up in the woods with more experience by the time we were 12 in survival than most of the "expert" YouTubers. Unfortunately we all have kids and jobs now, camping and teaching our kids the same lessons our fathers taught us will have to wait until they can learn them.
