I want to buy my brother a light for his gun. Unfortunately he has a C93 instead of an AR. Do lights exist for these things or are they unobtanium?

Yeah

Duct tape and a maglight, bro.

>Unfortunately he has a C93 instead of an AR
>Unfortunately he has a C93
wrong. good on him for having a C93 over an AR. one of the two is easier to find.
one of them is more interesting in today's world.

I'm not aware of any lights for them, though. I just skimmed hkparts but didn't see one. You can go look on your own.
hkparts or robertrtg.com are probably your best place to start looking

I don't know what your brother's aesthetic is but I kind of like it.

Don't congratulate someone for having a Century welding thing.
If it was an HK33, sure. But I once played with a C93 and it was like there was sand in the action. It was horrible.

3d print a couple of brackets and make one

century is hit/miss and you don't know the quality of it.
still more interesting than an AR.

>Century welding thing

It could be one of the PTR ones, which are really good. Century bought all of the parts kits from wherever and then PTR made the remaining parts, including the barrel, and assembled them.

There's probably better ones than this but this is a good start

you can check in the image, it's a century arms one.
but fuck that guy for shitting on it

they make barrel clamping rails in varying sizes these days

Just get one of these if nothing else and add your favorite flavor of flashlight.

The PTR ones still say Century on them, unless you have some way of telling otherwise.

Your brother picked a cool ass gun, don't shit on him for not being a flaming samefaggot like everyone else. You can get railed forends for those rifles, or he can go old school and mount it himself. youtu.be/n6zfTYQ09Rs?t=859 Nothing wrong with doing it yourself. you don't have to buy all the whizbang mall ninja shit if you can make it work on your own.

OP here, that looks like it would work, but how would I know what flashlights it's compatible with? The only gun I own is a Maverick 88.

This, or have a gunsmith replace the sight tower and cocking tube with one from an HK53 so you can use an MP5 forend light.

>take off handguard
>drill holes to put on a 1913 rail
>install 1913 rail
>put handguard back on

I have one, and when it shoots well it's fun, but it is finicky as hell with ammo, and really hard on brass. It has torn apart shells before and they get lodged back in the bolt from time to time and jam the thing. it is amazing to see. That fucking thing ripped steel cases in two so I had to quit using those real fast. Best I have found for my rifle is to use 5.56 with it.

There may be something wrong I don't know about but that is my experience. Cool as hell to have, but I got an AR anyways because I fucking hate shooting that heavy assed drama queen.

Oh shit you're right, I'm an idiot. I'm pretty sure PTR added their mark to it but it's on the other side.
I have one but I'm not going to dig it out. If I feel like checking before this thread dies I'll confirm either way.

>drill holes
they make handguards that accept whatever attachments you want, you know?
you could just get a different handguard and attach whatever you want that is mlok/keymod/rail compatible.

Nice way to give away your position.

So fucking stupid. You're a fucking idiot.

Are you shooting .223 out of it? That's a common problem, because .223 doesn't quite have enough pressure consistently to unlock the rollers. It's meant for 5.56.

I was, quit doing that since. Some days I love that suckers, some days Im frustrated with it.

>have a c93
>shoot nickel and steel case out of it all the time
>no issues

Guess I got the grail of them. Wished mags weren’t $80 a piece.

With promags, youtube, and a dremel with a sanding head they can cost $20 apiece, but one of mine refuses to hold more than 38 rounds for some reason.

Be sure to put an underslung flare launcher on too.

>buy new m lok/keymod/Pic Rail
>Mount what ever your little heart desires

mine handles everything, including 223 steel case. but its made by ptr so its not a POS

tbf it's from another era and the entire designed is built around a certain amount of pressure.
