Are there any modular three mag shingles or mag pouches that are ranger green? HSGI doesn’t have any RG

I am a desertfag that is potentially moving to snow country. What are the essential pieces of gear outside of clothing that will make me less miserable? What are the biggest mistakes people make in regards to this environment? I am just looking for the low hanging fruit so I can comfortably adapt.

The SAPI family isn't NIJ rated so no, however the protection levels are very similar to NIJ ratings.
Look around and decide what you want before you buy panels, for example if you decide to go with esstac kywis for magazine pouches or a blue force gear micro IFAK you won't need panels because they can be directly attached to the belt.

After over a month, my new vfg and ifak FINALLY came in from optics planet

Yo I want a decent plate carrier for around 150 to 250. I'm looking at the Agilite K5 because it's on sale for 230. Is there something better for that price point

Crye jpc 1.0 and mayflower apc are both highly reputable carriers at that price point. I’d recommend the jpc unless you plan on upgrading the cummerbund

>Outward protruding straps with buckles
yeah nah, JPC 1.0

can I please please have some advice as to what Safariland OWB holster to get for my belt? I have a trijicon RMR and TLR7 on my Glock 19 gen 5 MOS. There are a shitton of variants that "fit" but I don't know which one to get.

thanks. I'll probably get the LBT 9022 for a medical kit; the kywis do look good.

6354DO or 6360RDS, 6390RDS if you want ALS and SLS. Ask around before buying, there's usually coupon codes floating around.

Sorry I mean 6390RDS is ALS only, not the 6360.
6395 is also the same as the 6390 but it doesn't come with the ALS guard but it's not necessary. They're all the same holster just with or without certain accessories.
Also these holsters were made for the X300/TLR1 but since the TLR7 is smaller and thinner it should be fine?

only difference between 6395RDS and 6390RDS appears to be the first one is low ride and the second one is mid ride

oh I see the 6360RDS is mid ride but HAS SLS

Yeah, they're all the same base holster so just pick what you want. ALS only on a mid ride is generally what people go with.

I'll get the 6390RDS. $217, yikes

You can generally find them for cheaper elsewhere. Got my 6354DO for $50.

Opticsplanet has em for 165... I'll poke around

I have a K5 and I really like it. The other posters mentioning the Crye and Mayflower aren't steering you wrong however, those are both good setups.
On the K5 the stretching and padding are excellent and if you wear it for extended periods you'll probably be more comfortable than with other lightweight setups.

What pouches for pistol mags would you guys recommend for edc and the habbening? Something to put on the belt. Preferably side by side dual mag pouch.

Why is there a cunt on that plane?

>tfw you tab check someone else but you forgot to tab check yourself first to make sure you have one

tactical yoga pants?

Anyone have this chicom rig? How is it?

>buy KAC rifle length rail on ebay for $140
>reread the description and the seller has a non-no feedback seller policy and refuses transactions to those without feedback
What the fuck did I just get into? I made a new ebay account purely to buy this.

Attached: 1515041370242.jpg (600x400, 33K)

>2019
>no ebay qccount until now

I haven't bought anything off of ebay in like two years and I've just been on gunbroker. I lost the info to my old account.

not him, but I dislike scambay, I've made a few accounts just to buy 2-3 items since it came online

I cancelled the order. I'm not in the mood for putting up with retards.

Don’t know where else to put this, I’m looking for a case for a specific rifle, a savage axis ii in 308, with a vortex diamondback scope on it. How would I search for such an item, and what would be the upcharge to get a rifle-specific hardcase vs a general hard case?

Any advice or product suggestions welcomed.

What do y'all think about handgun mags on the front of a plate carrier like this instead of putting them on a belt?

Attached: fabf91288c242b0bd2f6720cbdba2109.jpg (1080x1080, 120K)

Depends on you, man. I’m not a fan of spiritus in general but if you’re just throwing a Haley DC3R or a Mayflower ontop of your PC then you’re going to have those pouches anyhow. Contrary to popular belief, you can still go prone, rappel, low crawl etc with one more mag on your front. Granted, it’s less comfortable and makes a mags-width difference but it’s doable and everyone started out doing it.

Mostly a cop or range thing, wouldn't do it on "actual" kit, there are more important things to put there.

>I’m not a fan of spiritus in general
This is the most tame thing I've ever seen bbg say about spiritus.

Doesn't appear to be tactical high speed bunny:

How much is an OPSCORE helmet? I want to set the helmet up to wear a commset on it. I've got a condor PC and I like it because I can throw armor in the cummerbund.. what PC should I get next? I like the armor in the side

I tend to keep my whole chest slick and run all my gear on mu cumberbunds

based Bundesnachrichtendienstglowneggerheimer

state mandated comfort lady

I have a Safariland 6360 and might get issued a 7000 series light-bearing holster. I'd like to buy a quick lock system attachment and put it on a 1 strap drop leg holster kit, the question for me is, what the fuck am I even talking about? No idea where to even look this stuff up or even mount it.

I dislike it, becomes an even bigger waste if you're doing stuff without your belt/pistol. But if you run something like multimags/bfg stretch panels you can pretty much adapt it to whatever you like, without running a bunch of dead load.

Looking for a slick PC to put under an M83 Rig.
Considering the Blackhawk! Or the 5.11

Any other recommendations?

I'm looking to get armor and I'm interested in the hesco 4400 10x12 in the link provided. But I have some questions. The site had them listed as Large from the manufacturer specs, but it's sized at 10x12, which I thought was closer to sapi medium since it's 9.5x11.25 right? I was going to put them in a medium Mayflower APC, will they fit? Does anyone know if the site listed requires any kind of I'd to order, like some other places? Don't want to get ready to pay the find out I have to email them before hand or something and have to go find my US birth certificate or whatever. Thanks in advance.

a 10x12 shooters cut plate is technically not the same as a medium E/SAPI.
a lot of manufactures that say there shit is for SAPI cut also works with 10x12.
Not all though so your inquiry is valid.

Beez Combat systems will only do one or the other for example.

A plate bag that can hold both 10x12 shooters and a medium SAPI may have excess materials to provide the room.

Best bet is to call Velocity Systems and just ask about the APC. Most likely a girl named Steph will answer the phone. She is very helpful. I talked to her twice yesterday about specific measurements about one of their products that is not available anywhere.

+1 ( 7O3) 7O7-628O

What the fuck is the purpose of "low profile" chest rigs when you have to add fucking extensions, hangers, bigger straps, and all sorts of other bullshit? Just buy a fucking D3CRX and call it a day.

Piece-meal purchasing expensive bits because they are billed as semi-exclusive. Think about nickel-and-dining yourself to death to put together something that holds value for you and only you like that ridiculous spoiler you put on your ‘02 Civic

>Most likely a girl named Steph will answer the phone. She is very helpful.
Does she sound cute?

Thanks user will do.

Google? You said the terms yourself?

Glad to see you're still using the scalarworks mount I got for you

What plate carrier?

its a great mount, made buy great people!

Sexy bitches

Question. Has anyone worn a butt pack while simultaneously wearing their ruck? And if so, how shitty was it?

Should I drop the money on a set up battle belt or a chest rig like the d3cr?

Chest rig

Belt first, then chest rig.

>(((Agilite)))

US made, famalam

Hesco L210 or VS PSA4? Either set is about $350. VS special threat triple curve are the ideal but I can't find a good price on them.

What are some good battle belts that are already put together?

The AWSin can be bought with a bunch of everything on it
It’s shorty and you’re not really supposed to do it with a loaded buttpack. You *can* if it’s like the older FLC but even then it’s kind of ass. If you have a good Ruck with mobile pads you can strap it high enough not to interact too much with the buttpack but even then you’re looking at a bad time, especially when the weight starts to sag free and sits on the buttpack.
Depends on what you’re intending to carry. High-speed competition belts are cool but you’re still going to struggle a little wearing 4+ Rifle mags on your hips unless you’re going full Velsys Jungle or BFG belt and suspenders.

what should i be looking for in gloves?

Are you in seriously cold weather or do you just want to look operator?

im not talking about for warmth. But rail can get hot and it seems nice to have gloves so your hands dont get as greasy

Nomex flyers gloves

This; especially for no-shit stuff
If you just want something for scrapes and burns that you’ll replace, just throw down on some mechanic fast fits for that multicam nonsense

Bullshit. You want to look operator AF like the rest of us. Just get a pair of mechanx. If youre actually using them, regardless of what you buy, youre gonna wear them out. Mechanx (or however you spell it) are cheap enough to replace when they age.

t. multiple glove owner

>You want to look operator AF like the rest of us
well of course i do, but i also would like to not have my hands needlessly dirty and when im shooting a good amount it does get pretty hot to hold bare handed

How much will a basic gear setup cost?

$1000 including the rifle, but this is absolute low tier basic stuff pricing with steel for plates.

$4000

I meant excluding gun/mags. What to look for in pants/shirt as well?

what all would that $4k include?

For entry pants and shirts look at tru-spec's website, they have loads of stuff

do you guys wear all your gear when going to indoor ranges or just when you go to an outside range or in woods?

Mostly around the house for pictures

Attached: 261E940D-C764-403B-BAA5-50FCC5BD07C1.jpg (1242x1175, 766K)

why spend thousands of dollars and not regularly train with your gear?

because it looks cool sitting on a shelf

also Biltwell gloves

awsin.com/proddetail.asp?prod=50725

can anyone here build me a belt for under 100$ or at least under 150$
I just dont know what I need and what I want.

dump pouch and IFAK are needed. but I dont know what else if anything is needed.

Mostly outside but there are sometimes events at indoor ranges. I generally don't wear the clothes, just normal clothes.

petzl

>what all would that $4k include?
Tbh idk. I just made up a number. You could prob do something with several hundred if went poorfag/3rd world shithole rebel fighter mode.

I dont really want bottom of the barrel but im also not a real operator so i dont need to of the line. I wasnt going to get a helmet right away but was thinking like plate carrier and stuff like that, i currently have no gear whatsoever.
