The frog. Romanian Type 1 AKM bayonets come with that kind of frog. Especially if matching serials. At least they used to.

Neat. Mine just has a black rubber bit for gripping when used as a wirecutter and a leather loop that clips to the top of the back.

Whatever variant it is, doesn't really matter now. It's ruined. You're not supposed to sharpen them. They're a soft metal and will lose edge. They're a tearing not cutting weapon. As long as you're happy with it though...

Fuck. Without any kinds of markings it's a bitch to tell. I think it's a 98 pattern bayonet, but it's not German or Spanish.

That's the problem, the closest I have found are German "sneak" bayonets but they have a 0 mark where mine has a 3 and they are missing the muzzle ring.
