Do you live near any battlefields? What battles took place near you? Any remnants?
They find unexploded bombs every few weeks where I live. As children, we used to play in the huge craters that are still around in and near forests. In summer, you can sometimes hear shots when unexploded ammunition goes off on some field. And a friend of mine once pulled a MP40 out of a river, completely ruined of course, but you could clearly see stock, barrel and magwell.
Never went out with a metal detector or anything though.
>Operation Blackcock Sounds about right for you people.

I live in an area in Norway that saw a battle featuring soldiers from Norway, England, Poland, France, Germany and Austria. Most of the houses in the area were burned down in the process. Absolutely all traces of the battle and the war is long gone. I haven't found as much as an empty cartridge here my whole life.

So no Americans allowed? Just a board for Chang and Ivan?

Had a great uncle who served in the Old Hickory Division, got bronze star for shooting people at Aachen. He got another bronze star years later for shooting communists at Chosin.
