Who has 7.62x39 HP for a good price?
I see, thanks for clearing that up brother - I didn't dig deep enough into the issue to find that out I guess
Different loads and also to ensure your rifle isn't overgassed
>Different loads and also to ensure your rifle isn't overgassed
dumb meme, mild overgassing induces reliability.
I've been trying to hunt grouse in the north of the Laurentian for the past couple of days. I haven't seen or heard one fucking bird. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, pic related is the kind of trails I was on. Also in thicker forest.
I feel like a fucking failure...
Welcome to the fucking boring shitty world of hunting.
My dad keeps harassing me every year to go and I'd rather break my fucking arm.
What is the name of that show Canada bros?
go away, Canadian Prepper, nobody here is interested in your Bugout Roll
Summoning the based bro from my college cohort that showed me your stag-10 build, I have a strong feeling you browse this site
Trailer Park Boys 2 - the quipening
Letterkenney
You two are faggots, also go out at dawn or after it rains
I'm a based bro in college who's currently buying parts to build a Stag-10, so I'm probably not your guy
Where you goin based bro?
It was raining the whole time...
>It's raining
>Why aren't the birds coming out of shelter?
Looking for some decent 7.62x39 ammo, can we get golden tiger in Canada? All I can find is bottom bin shit or horandy which is a $1 a round
how loud are you being man? those things get scared easy as fuck. are you looking at the ground and no more than 4 feet up? Thats what I do, be quiet and not waste time looking up. Im in SK, though.
Barnhaul is pretty decent. Tenda sells it in cases of 1000 for 350$ish
I always have my best luck late morning and afternoon
University of Toronto, you?
Can confirm, my VZ loves Barnaul
Chinese surp sometimes doesn't load a new round for me in my vz, it can get pretty annoying but its hard to beat the price.
>based zoomer in my alma mater, besieged by blue haired harpies and neo marxist professors
>a cultured man of VZ, with Stag building prospects
would share a reaction rod with
no homo
>it's only gay if the go and no-go gauges are touching
Hey boys! Let’s meet up somewhere and shoot guns! I’ve got some “fun” stuff I’m gonna bring that you might want to buy! Let’s just say, it’l be a blast, haha!
Sounds like fun fellow anonymous poster! I’ll bring my unpinned and full-auto SKS to “dab” on those gun-grabbers!
What is unironically the right reaction if you go to a meeting and someone, who may or may not be an rc, brings something "fun"? What are you supposed to do so you don't get fucked down the line? Is discouraging it enough to not get the van for just being there?
>if Canada Post fucked up
>if
Like the time you guys handed me a gun without either asking for a signature or wouldn't even look at my ID after I asked if you needed it to confirm I was actually the right person?
Or do you mean like the time someone who lives at the same address as I was able to go to post office and claim my package (a gun) with zero trouble?
Thanks brother, means a lot to me
If you have an AR-10 reaction rod in the GTA can I unironically borrow it for my Stag build? I don't want to fork over $150 for a new one that I'll use probably once
B&Ts are so expensive
SAIT
What do you study?
they're shit too. only guy I knew with the APC223 had to warranty it twice.
>saw a nice FN49 for $2k
>one SVT40 for $850, but the owner wouldn't haggle
>another for over a grand
>said seller, when asked whether it was a SVT38 or a SVT40, proceeded to look at it real close and tell me it was a '44'
>lots of duur guns
>lots of wildcat-chambered guns, none interesting
>couldn't find a bayonet for my Schmidt-Rubin 96/11
>no jerky vendors
>some idiot was selling a yugo SKS still caked in cosmoline for $1100
>barfy VZ58 for $1500
>another VZ58 that got tacticool'd to hell and back for $1800 (seller noted down to the cent how much every single attachment was worth)
>lots of nazi memorabilia, but not as much as I expected
>Lee Enfields out the ass!
>only reasonably priced one are sporterized to shit
>still only in .303 unless I want to pay upward of $1500 for one that got rechambered
>a few mosins, but I think half of the total number were at a single table
>might have bought one if my safe wasn't fucking full
>might have bought a .22lr plinker too if I hadn't bought one two weeks ago
>might have bought two, in fact, they were by far the cheapest guns you could get
>one guy tried to convince me a particular .22lr rifle was the best possible gun to have for pest control
>unfortunately, that gun of his weighed around 15 fucking pounds
>for some fucking reason, someone slapped the type of stock you'd see on an elephant gun on a .22lr and tried to pass it as a good pest-control plinker
>one guy was selling a blunderbuss so rusty it looked like deep-fried chicken
>passed two turbo-fudds arguing about muskets, with one of them telling the other 'mousquets' owed their name to the wick and that unless it was fired with a wick it wasn't actually a musket
>never mind the negative amount of sense that made linguistically, it was just fucking awful to hear
>absolutely no one was selling any of the non-restricted totally-not-an-AR15 guns
>only saw one greasy/smelly fattie in cammies; dude's hair looked like he used Crisco instead of shampoo that morning
I would if I had one
This was more a hypothetical, since I'm still on the fence about the effort and cost of building a Stag.
it is definitely smart to split the cost of tools with someone as that stuff would add up: reaction rod, go/no go gauges, caste nut wrench for buffer tube. for me, I don't build stuff and am not mechanically inclined, don't have a garage full of tools, so I'd also need everything else, like the torque wrench and even the basic bench vise. That's a lot of extra shopping just to build one rifle, so while I did a bunch of research, I haven't actually committed to the idea yet.
I seem to remember True North Arms saying something on CGN about renting tools, like you could purchase a set of gauges, or their cheaper version of the reaction rod (under 100 maple pesos), use them and then send them back and they would refund major portion of your money, as long as they weren't damaged. Lurk their site and send them an email, if they have that program, you might save a lot of cash on the stuff which as you said you are only going to use once.
If I end up deciding to invest in the build process, I'll holla at ya here and maybe we can share some of this shit. Otherwise do check TNA, if they're still doing the use and return thing, that seems to be the cheapest way of going about it
Amerilard 'mirin Canada's gains and cant cope
>exactly the same description as every other time I attended down to the exact guns
Glad I don't go anymore. Also fuck looking for a parking space for 20 minutes every time and fuck the south shore in general.
How difficult is it to buy AR parts (not lower obviously) through brownells and have shipped into Canada? Other American retailers?
After years of buying funs finally want to build my own AR but worried that it might be a fuckaround given the seeming lack of variety on Canadian websites
Im a 403fag as well. If you want a fren to go blasting with i'd be down! You can even try the webley and see that it won't blow up lol
Chink surplus. If you're looking to make tight groups at a distance x39 is not the cartridge to be using anyways.
Brownells uniquely has an export license, it's effortless but just takes 2-4 weeks. With 99% of other retailers you will be told to fuck off before you're able to explain you want to use an imported like IRG to get their shit through.
403 also, I'd love to shoot a webley and see if I like it or not before buying one
Drop me an email and we can talk on something else from there.
Mostly curous about the DA trigger pull and if it's really atrocious or not. I have a lot of grip strength due to being in a trade so might not be an issue for me
As a trades guy myself, its an insane DA pull. Basically useless unless whatever your shooting is touching the barrel since the point of aim will move so much
Found a parking spot pretty much instantly.
The highlight of this outing was convincing my dad that he should look into getting his PAL. He seriously believe the word is gonna go bootleg-Waterworld soon, and that society in general is gonna go tits-up but he doesn't have a gun even though he's been prepping for years.
He's a vet, and I don't know if someone who went to fucking war has to do their safety course, but I'm slowly getting him to realize what is really dangerous in an end-of-the-world scenario is other people.
Im not canadian but I'm here because I love guns, canada gooses, and letterkenny.
>love canada gooses
Didn't even have to say you weren't canadian, you would have tipped us off with that anyways
I wanna shoot guns with Alberta bros
If you have a problem with canada gooses you have a problem with me and I suggest you let that one marinate.
Based and Letterkenny-pilled
Geese are aggressive assholes
If you had ever interacted with a Canada goose ever you would fucking hate them you weirdo. What kind of faggot LARPS as a Canadian lmao
It’s our national animal what’s not to like about the brave Canada goose
I think that's paranoia. I wouldnt be hanging around people who opening talk about how much illegal shit they own especially if they invited me to go shooting on a Mongolian cuckolding forum
Then email me too user
But If the user seemed chill I'd go do something with them for a bit to make sure they dont seem like they are going to make a badass human skin suit out of me
Good to know, thanks. Would one just order as normal with their Canadian address, or is it necessary to contact Brownells beforehand to iron out logistics?
Also, do you mean to say other companies won't even ship parts and guns to importers or cross border address places?
>order as normal with their Canadian address
this. they'll send you a pdf form you have to fill out detailing items / price that gets filed on the US end to allow the import. just say for personal use on private property in the end use box or whatever its called.
>Also, do you mean to say other companies won't even ship parts and guns to importers or cross border address places?
I was exaggerating, but many people have that experience of smaller retailers being retarded and so scared of ITAR that they flat out don't want to deal with you when you begin to explain the process. plenty will go through but there's close to no reason to do that unless you're ordering very obscure shit.
Sweet, I'll definitely keep TNA in mind for that. I'll also post if I buy tools. Interestingly enough, I'm actually in a similar position for tools, but I have friends with some of the non-gun stuff so I think I just need the gun-specific tools.
Won't say, but something based ;)
?
Canada goose are a nuisance, a pest, and must be exterminated
I have a problem with you
Stop doing this you fucking weirdo.
[letterkenny intensifies]
Funny show aside, canada geese can all burn in hell.
:( i just wanna make frens who enjoy target shooting too
Ok I'm going to honest, I thought your request was to some other post. I'm sorry of I offended you, id shoot tour Webley if I was nearby if you know what I mean ;)
JK, but seriously, sorry though k?
i forgive
Any Ontario anons want to do some shooting? I just joined Lower Trent Valley Fish and Game and I’m looking to make some shooting buddies :)
Where's dat?
When grouse take off it sounds like a fucking biplane starting, them flapping their wings has a lot of bass, sometimes its best to scare them around then wait til they fuck off so you can see them
403 Lethbridge faggot here. Let’s have a meet up
how much is their memebership?
site says no more, even waitlist is closed and no info on the prices, just the existing memeber renewal form
Honestly that would be fun. Not sure of good spots that are between Calgary and Lethbridge but we could figure something out. I usually head out by Cochrane
Well we hate those little faggot geese so get with the program!
>Near Belleville
Nigga that's like 2-3 hours away from me.
What’s it like buying a gun at a gun show there? As easy as it is here?
t. Mutt
Yeah I go to Waiparous as well. I'd be down for an early/mid october waiparous trip. Anyone got a clay thrower?
Well first you ask how much, then he says double the market price, then you say fuck that.
>buying a gun at a gun show
I don't think anyone in Canada hates his money that much
I've got a manual one lol. Shoot me an email and we can try and plan out a meetup
It's pretty much the only way to get certain milsurp at decent prices.
Hey boys, good news! Looks like I have a line on an ar 50. Gunna see if I can buy it Monday. Barring that there is a styre hs50 there too that I will buy if I can't get the ar 50
EE exists
Don't post that offensive fucking show
AR50? Isn't that the bolt action upper that got re-classified in the states? How hard are they to find up here? I wish they came with a lower that wasn't like a traditional AR lower to mount to since mag feeds from the side.
Also quick tip; remember to install a powerful enough trigger to hit the primers, the upper kit actually came with one to make sure it went bang properly
What's offensive about it? I never saw more than a couple clips. It seemed like just more fellation of the canuck culture
>asking if he was selling a svt-38 at a gun show
What a retarded question desu
You have things confused with another gun. This is the gun I'm looking at:
en.m.wikipedia.org
The one you are thinking of is cool but requires ar 15 lowers which means I can't test it at long ranges
Right right, am retard. Where would one go about finding a SHTF-50 anyway? I swear my LGS had them a few years ago
No idea. Again not my cup of tea because of the available target distances. Perhaps if there was a non ar 15 lower that could be used it would be a good buy
From a boomer? They always do that. They do fun shows as a pass time activity. You have to negotiate.
I wish it were that simple. The venues charge so much for a table at these things they dont have a choice but to mark their shit up sometimes
Nigger the jerseyville show only charges 30 bucks for a table and you can share it with a bud.
This post is awfully Canadian.
Ok well I've been to bigger shows where the charge 5 grand for a little 3x6.
I'll have you know, you are talking to a pure blooded white man and I will be treated as such!
Put the crack pipe down user
>5 grand
seriously?
I should have said allegedly. I guess I don't know that for a fact. But in a downtown Toronto convention centre, I could see that sure
But, no joke, it goes like this.
>see gun
>want gun
>ask price
>get price
>haggle
>agree to price
>show PAL
>give money
>get gun
>walk away with gun
>not asking retarded questions about the nice gun to see if the seller is on top of his game or not
It's like you've go no jewish blood in you.
No it doesn't.
