Do the SK socialists really want to backstab the US and sit out a fight with China?

How you doing man? What do you fly in both cases?

Yes.
Pls remove commies and leftists.
Im in Vancouver now getting some rest then flying to Hong Kong.

cool, a domestic China route. do you fly smaller aircraft sometimes? do you miss it if not?

Do you have any sources for ROK milsurp? I just got a daewoo dr200 and I'm having a hsrd time finding ROK surp to go with it here in the states.

Yes flying a 787 is boring I miss flying a real plane where I actually do things.

Do you carry a piece?

I fly to Korea for work often, are you in pic related? How do I buy you a beer?

Hey ROK bro, I don't really have any pertinent at this time, but I got to stay Pohang a little while ago and hang out and train with some ROKMC dudes. It was a good time, and I enjoyed your country's hospitality.

>a domestic China route
topkek

how many commies did you shoot down?

What was it like becoming a pilot for the ROKAF? How does conscription work with that? I figure theyd let you go to college if your gonna be a pilot, though it must've been very competitive

Not the OP, so I can't really tell you much about the officer route, but conscription starts at age 19 where able bodied men serve for close to two years, voluntary enlistment has its benefits though and if I remember correctly they start right out as the equivalent to Corporal or maybe even Sergeant.

its the E-6 equivalent, but its like the guard or reserve most the time you're waiting for someone to die to rank up. Worked with alot of ROKs they honestly need to make QOL as a conscript better. It would help out their country so much. kids kill themselves over going into the military its so shitty for enlisted.

>get payed like 300 dollars a month
>only get like a week of leave a year
>can't leave base unless on leave or holiday
>have to wear a uniform even on your free time (unless you don't get caught)
>get cigarette rations tho

Huh, I didn't know they had cigarette rations, I only spent about 6 weeks there, but that makes sense why the guys always had cigs in the field. I knew their pay was bad but I didn't realize it was that bad. I felt kind of bad for their quality of life too. Poor dudes werent allowed to have their cell phones on base when I was there, they did take me out to lunch and it was a great time.

thats a big deal real talk unless the Sargent is paying for it always make an effort to reciprocate. Alot of south Koreans can speak English but don't out of fear of doing a bad job and being made fun of (thats how they roll in south korea). when i was out there south Koreans are legit the best overseas pals.

But most guys sell their cigarette rations to people for extra cash. They also get soju rations (i've heard, never seen). at osan ab where the main gate is they line up first of the month to try and pick up the most expensive cigarettes they're offering.

Oh yeah I did my best to do whatever I could for them. My wife's parents were from Korea so I have some understanding of their customs albeit surface level. I'm friends with a lot of them on Facebook now and still message them on occasion.

if you go back you go burn an esse for me bud. those faggy Korean slim cigarettes aren't one pull.

Korean cigarettes are actually based AF; I purchased some Raison French Blacks for a big smoker friend of mine and he loved them. Said their aroma was very strong, like a decent red wine.

Yeah I loved their variety there. I liked the capsule ones with the citrus flavors, but I've since quit. Maybe if I ever do go back to visit I'll treat myself to a pack.

Did you ever encounter PRC fighters? What happened? What Planes were they?

- Do you honestly believe the KFX will happen?
- Was buying the F-15 a good idea in your opinion?
- Have you flown the T-50 and how was it?
- Did you have the opportunity to train with foreign air forces and what did you think of them?
- Is there really a lot of hate towards today's Japan within the SK military?
- Are you worried about China potentially rearming North Korea?
- Do you play video games and if yes, which genres do you prefer?

Korean girls worth it?

Graduating soon and want to settle down. Thx

How do you feel about the Japanese being superior compared to your people?

Do you feel shame that your country does not have an airplane for you to fly and instead you must suckle on the teat of America like for everything else?

If you’re near UBC come visit senpai

Hi I am in high school in US. I was always interested in joining the military as a pilot. Is military/civilian aviation a good career? Right now I really don't know what I want to do for a living when I grow up.

if you're in high school and you don't absolutely know that this is what you want to do, you're never gonna make it.

When did you first realize you were attracted to men?

who would someone as successful as you post here?

I thought I had to go to college before flight scchool. Wouldn't I be able to figure out what I wanted to do then? Besides, I'm just asking for insight into what the job is like and that maybe it would change how I view my future.

>Airline pilot
>Successful
Yeah, nooo. They don't get paid enough.

If you don't think you'll make it into a service academy for college, your next best chance to fly for the military is:
>ROTC in college
>Get good grades in a STEM subject
>Apply for a flight slot when you commission
I think Navy and Marines are a bit less competitive than the AF when it comes to pilot slots, but I'm definitely not sure. It changes from year to year.
