Gonna have to go with the Paramarines
What's your favourite WW2 Soldier aesthetic?
The belt is too high, otherwise that's pretty good. Needs some gloves and maybe googles?
Soviet naval infantry
Gonna go with wehrmacht and SS cossacks and the other osttruppen units
SAS in north africa
Angry SS squad
Men don't wear gloves, don't give a shit what you think about belt placement, and are aesthetic regardless of your pussy feelings on the matter despite you wailing them while running to your momma.
What is this?
Its a WW IV uniform you dumb fuck
British Paras.
idk I always liked the americans
so casual looking, plus the sexy guns and vehicles
Came here to say this
Considering most of them looked like they were wearing potato sacks the whole war, their paras were operator as fuck

Kradschutzens
Uboat crew
They wore the horrible looking Sou'wester hats 99% of the time tho

Also this
Pretty much any unit in N. Africa, allied and axis.
One of my favorite war movies is Play Dirty, and it does a great job of capturing that aesthetic.
The KMT and NRA had some nice aesthetics
The whole war was super aesthetic, hard to pick one
now that i think about it, it is kinda weird that the Marines (an expeditionary force) doesn't have Para's so any hypothetical naval invasion would require co-operation with a separate branch (army) to conduct.
Cant beat it.
this nigga...
Why is Tom Hanks fighting the japs ?
Hungarians were pretty cool too
U jelly?
The Aufseherinnen had pretty aesthetic coats. I love the baby blue of this one.
Here's another coat they used
This picture brings so much nostalgia. The veins in his arms, the way he non chalantly is standing, and how he is holding the tail wing with his hand. His beard remind me of a MARSOC guy I knew.
This picture just really makes WWII feel like it actually happened, and they were real people.
SS peadot
>Some bitch and her family singing in the hills and defecting
>You and your squad are tasked with turning the sound of music into the sound of mausers.
french resistance
good thread by the way
Can’t beat that scrappy, rugged look
I never tire of seeing this image. Guy just looks like he knows he's part of something big. And likes beer.
ss in normandy were peak aesthetic
>Men don't wear gloves
Men absolutely wear gloves, not that you've ever done shit that required them.
And belts are meant to hold shit up, not constrict your abdomen.
Weighted Knuckle Gloves are epic
the leaf
*fails to take dday objective for 3 months*
Naval Pacific stuff always looks nice.
German Paratroopers always look cool.
And I always loved the pictures of germans standing in fields.

Winter war Finnish officers.
I don't know about the name of what it is, I know it's been a tradition in russia since before communism, having the name of your ship or fleet on it : in this case it's the baltic fleet (you can read in russian Бaлтийc[кий флoт]
>me on left

SS Panzergrenadiers
Japanese SNLF troops(pic related)
Soviet Naval Infantry.
>angry SS squad
Basically my Opa for the rest of his life. He was an angry man since the war ended and absolutely disgusted by the state of the fake Germany that is now here and wanted to remove all the poles from the occupied German territories they now live on(he's right about that, you can still see German signs on buildings in the former heimat territories). Always loyal to the Reich. Buried him in his uniform in 2016(he buried his uniform beneath a barn before surrendering to UK troops and it was in great condition when me and my brother recovered it). He died age 98 leaving behind 6 children and 21 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Aren't most of these from Korean war?
He's a Chad and a nation's hero.
But yes France was better under the germans, than now.
Let me recount a story told to me by my old math teacher. His father was part of a Canadian armoured unit tasked with closing the Falaise Gap. They had orders from the high command to start attacking an objective at a certain hour, with the plan being for the British to link up wi them & encircle the Germans. Unfortunately for the Canadians, the British decided to have tea and were 15 minutes late with starting their advance.
If it hadn't been for British high command, Canada could have been more successful in the field. The failure of Dieppe for instance was more or less the result of British incompetence.
Here is a Canadian sniper wearing a P38 & holster.
Considering how the Second World War followed the Great Depression, a lot of them probably were hobos at some point before the war.
Next time win the war, Hans.
Based Commies. The best uniform belongs to American generals though.
decima flottiglia MAS
military aesthetics peaked before WW1
