I have an arsenal slr 106fr rifle, It's the only firearm that I own atm, but I'm soon going to be moving to different places frequently and its cumbersome to carry with me every where including all the ammo and mags I have for it.
Debating on whether to trade it for a handgun, would this be a bad idea or no? My reasoning behind this decision would be more useful to have a handgun that I could carry instead of a rifle in a safe sitting at my parents that I wont be able to have with me.

Dude. A passable concealed carry pistol costs like $200. Get a cheap fucking Kahr or SCCY or something instead of trading a high quality, imported AK, which can be taken off the market any time. The fuck dude.

I used to own arsenal slr 95. Between the maadi, the mak90, and the nhm91 the arsenal was by far the best AK I've ever owned. I was a fool to get rid of it and would would be too.

You are going to miss that gun later on down the line. Keep it and save up a bit for a pistol. Doesn't have to be fancy. I bought a used Kahr CW9 for $250 years ago that has been one of the most reliable automatic pistols I have ever owned.
Not sure I'd trust a SCCY, but I have heard good things about the Taurus G2s and those are cheap as all fuck. Like nearly Hi-Point cheap. No personal first hand experience though.
