If you're looking for a pretty good quality ak and aren't a die hard millboo, and don't mind paying that much then I don't see why not

Milled ak’s actuate like a smooth piston, stamped ak’s actuate like your computer chair wheels when theres kitty litter strewn about.

get a load of this faggot

The Vepr akm is superior to arsenal

True
Saiga=Vepr>Arsenal>Norinco>>>>other

They're pretty good.

I never thought AK's would ever be worth $1500.
My first AK was a Serbian stamped and I paid $150.

Why not both?

I'd buy used on Gunbroker; $1400 is just way too damn much for a milled AK imo. That's getting into territory where you can purchase an exotic kit (Russian, East German, Egyptian, etc.), a Childers receiver, a Romanian or Polish virgin barrel, and send the entire thing off for a good builder to assemble.

hard pass.
i can find them new in .5sec of searching for 1250.

you gain ~4oz of weight for a quite a list of improvements.
Honestly if price isn't a factor it's well worth it.

lol I bought a MAK90 at Wal-Mart on sale for 179.99 in 1993.

Where?

>$1400

You god damn nigger, I've looked high and low for an SAM7 for 1250 and can't find. I am calling bullshit.

what improvements?

Yeah they are all $1300+ online then factor in taxes and transfer fee and you’re looking at $1450-$1500.

Slight increase in accuracy due to stiffer receiver causing less flexing and SAM7’s have butter smooth operation

its not stamped sheet metal dog shit?

>Slight increase in accuracy due to stiffer receiver causing less flexing
I don't think that's ever been conclusively demonstrated.
The only actual advantage it confers is being near indestructible, and the bolt feeling nicer to rack, offset by weight and cost.

Some of the very best AKs are stamped, and some of the very worst AKs are milled, just the fact of being milled or stamped doesn't tell you much about one.

bet my stamped SAN Sig is smoother than your milled SAM7

>Expensive
>AK

I never understood this meme. It's fucking simply not what it was designed to do. I mean, yeah i get not getting bottom of the barrel slav shit, but if you want an accurate rifle you can do it for cheaper and better with another platform. I mean, cheap is even part of the aesthetic of AKs so if you're going for modern tacticool AK you're already a faggot.

I would give a testicle to have one of the new AK varients coming out of Russia at the moment

I had a 553r. Was a nice gun. It’s also 3x as much. Are you just trying to flex or what?

>any AK
>worth 1400
i got mine during the glory days. but if you want a quality AK 1100+ is the norm these days
