Best striker fired handgun ever made?
Walther PPQ
>best striker fired handgun ever made
No such thing could ever exist. Different people have different hand sizes and different priorities, plus there are literally two upgraded factory PPQs on the market right now - the Q5 and Q5SF. While the Q5SF is overpriced bait for basic-bitch B and C class USPSA production shooters, the standard match is a good gun, and used versions can be had for decently cheap right now.
Ppq m2 has the best trigger on a striker fired gun imo
Ppq, then p320 imo
I don’t like the ergos. It’s hard to control the muzzle flip even though the grip is molded well because it doesn’t allow enough room for the supporting hand.
>button
>m2
I was back and forth with the PPQ and the M&P 2.0 for months before finally settling for the M&P with an APEX trigger. Never looked back. Shoots like a dream. WHo needs a PPQ SF when the M&P 2.0 has an internal steel frame anyway?
You obviously don’t because you can’t afford it but that’s fine. You never ‘looked back’
The S&W also looks cooler and I got it for cheap. :^) A borrowed PPQ Match jammed a couple of times at an IPSC match, which further drove the nail in the coffin. Buy take my advice with a grain of salt, I might be a poorfag, after all. :^^^)
Reason I’m shitting on you is because I do have a ppq sf and it’s amazing but then again I never held mp 2.0 so I shitpost you shitpost :^)
M&P M2.0 is a better gun than the PPQ SF all things considered. Shoots softer, bigger mags, wayyy cheaper. It lacks an optic and the trigger's not as good but the M2.0 CORE will be along soon.
The SF has the cruddy new trigger Walther is putting in the new PPQs, it's not nearly as good as the old PPQs, it's disgusting that they don't use the old (good) PPQ parts for the ultrapremium PPQ SF. It's just a basic bitch PPQ trigger with creep.

So how do you like it overall Burt? Can you put an aftermarket trigger? Is that the only beef you got with it?
That's brilliant
but I like this
>+P not recommended
Straight into the trash heap
Wrong
I wish
All the seething in this thread.
I own only Glock pistols they're insanely reliable never had fte, ftf,or light strikes their perfect.
The ergonomics are meh,the grip is nothing special.
It has the highest capacity for full sized pistols, parts are cheap and easy to replace.
And probably the biggest reason price point to performance.
A new glock gen 4 is $500
New Beretta 92fs$600
New CZ-75$600
New HKvp9sk$600
Its robust and as reliable as more expensive pistols on the market.
>best striker fired pistol
Umm no sweaty
> Q5SF is over-pricer bait for basic-bitch B and C class USPSA production shooters
>M2.0 CORE will be along soon
Prople have been saying that since the 2.0 came out, and meanwhile nothing but Shields with optics cuts as far as the eye can see.
When, M&P? We've been wandering in the desert so long now.
>Glock trigger
>Glock ergos
>P L A S T I C S I G H T S
If all you have is reliability, then the CZp10 has you beat at the same price point, and PPQs are around the same as Glocks as well. It also doesn't have the highest capacity, not with the P10F's 19+1. You're full of shit.
I love mine
How many slide reps does that Holosun have on it?
It had about 300 on my ar and about 700 so far on the q4. I'm a huge fan of this optic, it's possibly my favorite red dot I've used so far
It's bretty good desu
Best stock trigger, for sure. Would change things about slide and aesthetics.
How is the trigger on these so much better than other striker fired handguns, what do they do differently?
Because it's true single action only. There's no preloading of the striker like a Glock has
ah I see, I don't own a PPQ otherwise I would have taken it apart and found out for myself lel
It's the same as a p99 but without the da capability. I recommend trying one, they're fantastic.
Does the Glock design not have a firing pin block? Why do they continue to insist on a half charged striker if they have one?
Glock has a firing pin block, but it's a "safety" thing for Glock.
Checked
Picked it up last week
Rumor on the grapevine is that Walther is supposed to fix the rear sight issue on the Q4 Tac optics ready model. Any idea when? I'm already $200 deep in Walther magazines. It would be nice to not have to spring for 5 new magazines on top of a new pistol and red dot if I go that route.
>Sir, what if we completely copy HK's aethestics?
Walther p99 was designed 1990s
Ppq came out 2011
Hk vp9 came out 2016?
Man, let him have it. VP9 is the first decent HK trigger since the USP LEM match.
P30 came out 2006
Completely unrelated:
Who makes the best 1911s today for carry? My state has capacity laws so I might just get one cause the double stack advantage of a polly is gone
Redesigned p99 in 2000
>laughs in HK
And we're still waiting on the optics ready version stateside since what, 2018?
Yes, the M1 possibly is. Maybe the Steyr M1A2, haven't used that yet. The coolest however is the Kahr model with an alloy frame.
>I bought the other one. Then modified it with aftermarket parts. Who needs the better one am i rite?
It's not even the best striker pistol that HK has made.
Lefty looking for ambi gun? Anyone try the new compact version of the PPQ? How's it compare to the PPS?
Walther copying hk style a decade before hk
Lol
>Polymer
Have fun with your pistol in 50 years when the frame starts cracking due to UV exposure.
How many VP70s have cracked from UV? Also, after 50 years of service I think your duty/carry gun (which Walthers and HKs unmistakably are) will have gone far past the service life expected of it.
Love mine, carried it for 2 years. Cheap alternative magazine to Walther brand mags, Canik TP9 18 end mags. I let those drop on the range and save the branded mags for carry.
>VP70s
Not too many of them exist, the ones that are aren’t typically being carried on a regular basis. There are reports however, on Gen 1 glocks cracking on the frame near the locking block, and cracking on the thin part of the magwell when magazines are inserted with some effort.
So is the CZ P10 series confirmed best stock trigger now that the new PPQs suck?
I have shot both and thought the P10c was superior
>Have fun with your pistol in 50 years
I'll be lucky if I see a decade of use before the barrel lock up is wobbly as shit or the frame just cracks. The polymer frame is the least of my worries.
Grip is smaller, it's a double stack like the G26.
>Remington Nylon 66
>manufactured 1959
>no frame damage
too stupid to shitpost
Having shot both extensively the HK is absolutely inferior to the Walther in every way.
>Nylon 66
>Rifle frame that shoots .22lr
Vs
>Pistol frame
>Inherently flexes when shooting a relatively larger round.
Of course it the .22 rifle will last longer without showing the inevitable effects of polymer degradation.
I love steel, my man, but for competition, but it's annoying to have a 2.5 lbs, unloaded, real steel pistol on your hip all day every day.
Nylon 6/6,6 is light, and like steel, exhibits a platueing Wöhler curve beyond a certain numbers of cycles below a given fatigue limit. Aluminum has no such platue and just keeps on sloping down until material failure.
Glorified Hi-Point.
Walthers look like brainlet hi points
Ppx is a glorified hi point
Ppq is nooooiiiice
why did you fucking retards even post.
Used versions? Of that new ass gun? Jardly anybody has that fucking thing, i havent even come across an instagram post with it having a red dot mounted on it. Used models are gonna take a while to trickle down nigga and theres no way that fucking thing is gonna devalue so much. You sound delusional.
Which walther is said to have the best out of the box trigger? The best trigger that will get better over time the more you shoot it?
Nice copypasta.
You dont know how to shop
Typo in OP post... PPQ45* is the best striker fired handgun
you... i like you
