They've been in use for quite some time. They're not well liked because of the sights and how difficult they are to clean.

there is no pulley to be found in your link, rather a rack and pinion, the ak-107/108 do not use an AN-94 type pulley system, simple as that

Again, whatever, my point is that the ak107 does not have the same or even similar system as the an-94 does so you cannot speculate about the an-94 based on the ak107
The an-94 has this pulley system to strip a cartridge out of the magazine into a riser where it is ready to be fed into the chamber, this systems purpose is to facilitate the whole moving receiver-in-a-receiver thingy with the an-94 where the magazine is mounted to the outer receiver
Now the ak107 on the other hand has this counter moving weight that in effect reduces the weight of the bolt carrier when it comes to recoil, know those light weight bolt carriers people use on competition ar's, same thing but more reliable
These two systems have a completely different purpose, shape, and mechanics, the one thing they share is that when the bolt carrier moves backwards a piece moves forwards

You’re an absolute retard. The AN-94s system is not a counterbalance recoil system found in the AK-107/108/109, AEK-971/973, and A-545/762.
The purpose of the AN-94 was the improved hit probability with the fact that it fires two projectiles with the felt recoil of one shot. The Counterbalance Recoil System (BARS) is an absolute different design. The BARS system negates all felt recoil with it’s dual piston system, while the AN-94s pulley system only negates one shot out of two, and that’s only when it’s fired on it’s two round burst setting. In full auto that system is not used while the BARS system is in constant use no matter if it’s Semi-Auto Burst or Full-Auto.

completely wrong, physics don't work like that, if you've got something going forwards, ie. bullet and gas, you're gonna have something go backwards as well, ie. the gun

the pulley is not the thing making the an-94's two shot burst possible, see the g-11, exactly same principle, also, for full auto, the two first shots are hyperburst and the rest are ordinary 600rpm

Have you seen the Stoner LAMG, the Ultimax 100, or even the AK-107 in action, you can negate felt recoil, by the way negate does not mean remove retard.
