So I just completed my BCM build and I gotta say that I am a little bit underwhelmed. Not only was it too simple but the final product just doesn’t look or feel that great. It’s too small, sharp, and refined. It almost looks like a Walmart pellet gun toy. What do I do with this now? I feel robbed

You could get a weapons light, mount it forward on the M-LOK section and get a tapeswitch to mount back on the top rail.

SBA3 is nice, but I found out they break when you mortar them. I haven't personally used a SBA4, but it looks like it would be stronger.

Its not mounted on anything ATM but off the bat it feels like you could beat someone to death with it. Clicks are positive but not super audible. Illum is lackluster. Glass is decent.

Overall id say it fits the pricepoint but is not some sort of hidden gem. A good buy if you are looking for a 2.5-10 FFP for some sort of SPR or something.

Depends on the target size. If we are shooting man sized steel 100-200yd I find a dot to be JUSTASGOOD but if we move that to 4" gongs an LPVO will be superior as you get towards 200yd. I generally dont dial mag until im outside 300m which is why most of my SBRs dont have magnified optics. But using a dot past 300m is not impossible, ive made 500m hits with my SCAR + T2 against 2/3 IPSC torsos, its just going to take a little time to really ride that gun down.

I am still confused about the PSA premium FN barrels. I mean, both sides make a good argument but at the end of the day it is difficult to come to a conclusion. I inch towards the lower quality side. I mean it does seem entirely possible to produce something using less resources and thus resulting in lower quality. They can still stand behind the barrels as I am sure they are durable and good, maybe just a bit less accurate. But that basically means for way less money you just get a slight accuracy disadvantage but the same top tier durability.

1.93 is nice, i hate to use same recycled response everyone else uses, but the more heads up cheek weld feels a lot nicer

There’s no doubt that they’re durable, I’m just saying my experience with the accuracy of my example was very sub par as far as AR15s should go.

Buy a higher quality product than PSA, especially if you plan to utilize CHF to its fullest.
PSA has oversized/cant-even-tell-you-the-size gas ports and poor assembly practices. If you are considering a PSA hard its doubtful you will be outshooting a barrel.
