Sounds like a goodwill or surplus warehouse. Those mag pouches are worth at least 20 apiece btw

I am ignorant when I comes to gear, but it seems you get quite a bit for only $5. is there a place where I can see what this all looks like when it is assembled.

it is a surplus auction.are the mag pouches the ones in the middle?

so when you are in the military, this is all the standard kit they issue you when you go out into the field? what items am I looking at?

>marine PC (Eagle? it's iotv era.)
>h-harness rig
>assorted mag pouches, grenade pouches, ifak pouch
>clip-on style camelback carrier
>random bag?

Just look at it senpai.

damn how does shipping work on this small stuff could not get a quote, see some good deals, except this op its not a good buy, condor is better gear

nigga that's a SFLCS deployment kit in the picture, it's Eagle Industries and it was SF issued stuff until the SOFLCS kit replaced it

That's not a USMC PC, it's the Eagle RRV chest rig in the upper left

nigga thats the joke thats a great price on alot of rare gear i was going to bid but shipping is a bitch at theses sites sometimes

in OPs photo it looks like you have two Load bearing vests, which are pretty nice and about $12 a pop normally. other than that it looks like miscellaneous mag pouches, molle parts, maybe parts of a plate carrier at the bottom, a big bad and a small bag.

Anyone in or near Pennsylvania willing to pick up and mail to east US?

would someone even be able to?

can't you just get the smaller lots ups'ed to you?

Huh, looked up the business on the bbb, and its Facebook page, this shit looks shady as hell. It shares a website with iron planet, and the advertised name is gov planet. Lots and lots of complaints about both businesses, but ironplanet is worse. Mostly all complaints about customer service and about the warehouse guys losing shit and refusing refunds.

This one has a $400 backpack in AOR2 and a pretty fucking expensive medical kit.

I see gear like this everyday. Its shit. The one for $5 isn't bad for what your getting but it's all just terrible.

Yes. I’m sure the gear made under contract for Naval Special Warfare is garbage. Thank you for your expert advice.

Not him, but
>"Remember that your equipment was made by the lowest bidder".

Everything the military issues is outdated by the time it makes it to the field.

Is this the quantity? Like will I have to buy 10 of these at whatever the winning price is?

You pay freight, in OP's cade he's got 2 pallets at 50 pounds each

That's why bid is at $5

The movie war dogs is a dramatized version of basically this.

It was teens who bought ammo from a website for ak47 then sold to the Iraq police as Russian even though it was Chinese and did prison time.

What they were doing was buying surplus then supplying it to different procurement opportunities

The website in the movie is real.

This website is a private for profit company that liquidates equipment the military deems damaged beyond repair and garbage

If you have a company that makes tshirts or something if you bud a low as fuck amount you'll actually get awarded a contract. They're after cheapest shit that meets their specifications hence milspec.

They tell you what those are for a given item in the opportunity.

Yes there are literally "milspec" stickers with the army logo on them

If you make those at home a milspec stickers could be 2x2 black and yellow lettering etc

Welcome the the very fucking basics of production

>They're after cheapest shit that meets their specifications hence milspec.

this.

hence why the mag I keep loaded in my 92fs is a factory OEM beretta magazine, even though the 5 or 6 milsurp mags I got for $5 each have worked flawlessly at the range, I don't trust them as much as a factory magazine.

You can't do that ironplanet is a military contractor with did clearance required to get on site, you can't be like I paid $5 for my pallet of 428 crye precision knee pads so I'm gtg

You need to arrange shipment with iron planet, which is hard because once you pay for them item they start charging you storage fees if you don't pick up in a month it's abandoned property and relisted.

90% of the time they don't call you back because they make most of their money selling off trucks.

Also....your mom probably doesn't have a fork lift and won't let you just unload pallets of used combat equipment into the basement you live in.

Also.....you know how hard it is to unload 100 pounds of used gear? You have to inventory it, lost it and wait.....then ship it and after all that work you probably make like $40 on the lot

And one pissed off mom because you're trying to turn your bedroom into a military surplus warehouse

No, it’s not standard Army issue. Looks like a different version of the old Ranger kit we got issued plus or minus a few pouches and a plate carrier.

The rhodesian in the top left corner is absolute money though.

>Kids who heard a boomer meme once and won’t stop repeating it
Most Army gear is perfectly serviceable, if not as good as its civilian counter parts. Doubly so for anything SOF buys. It’s not like Eagle Industries, Mystery Ranch, Outdoor Research, ect are known for making bad gear.

This should only be us surplus

Yes that is the quantity. No your bidding on the lot of 10, whoever has the highest bid will the lot, in this case 10 backpacks.

>if no one else bids

have you ever been to ebay?
all of these auctions will explode during the last 12 hours.

You have to organize pickup and shipping on your own. Which can be quite expensive
