Any recommendations for a pistol light on a G19? I'm stuck between the PL Mini 2 and the TLR-7 at the moment
x300 or git out
The P99 is superior to a Glock 19 in almost every way
Yes
P99c is my daily carry
Based
based and waltherpilled
Anyone try out the PPQc? I'm a lefty looking for an ambi striker pistol for ccw and home defense.
How does it compare to the PPS?
Thoughts on appropriate value here?
$500
Do 3rd Generation S&Ws have issues when firing .40 or 10mm over extended periods?
I have a tlr1-hl on my 19x (fits the 19g4 as well obviously). Kinda pricey at $125ish but great all around
The suppressor is everything I dreamed it would be and more.
Burt, if you're here I have an update. I was the guy who kept hitting further left of the target the more I shot. I went to the range 3 times this week to practice keeping my grio relaxed while I shoot. Also during dry fire practice at home I realize that I tighten my grip as I pull the trigger too. I've been working on correcting both things and am now able to get all shots in one hole at 10 yards at a medium rate of fire and managed to land all shots in the magazine in the middle of the chest of the hostage on the hostage taker target at 20 yards with a more rapid rate of fire. I feel much more confident with my carry gun now.
what can is it? Really thinking of getting one
LGS has an M&P9 Pro for $600 maple dollars which is about the same as the regular model goes for.
Should I pull the trigger? I want a gun to rack up a high round count on and can also use for getting my black badge in the future if I feel like it. The price point puts it ahead of a long slide glock or CZ shadow for me.
Mechanically speaking, is a shadow 2 unsuitable for defensive use as a carry or HD gun? I understand its heavy but I'm more concerned about what was prioritized in its design as a competition gun
It's completely fine for that if you can deal with the size and weight.
Can you guys please convince me to not get a FNX-45 Tactical and put my octane 45, light, and Trijicon SRO on it.
Fnx is built like shit. Go with a usp or glock 21
No firing pin block on Shadow 2s if I remember correctly.
It's a Liberty Centurion 9, the little brother of the Mystic 9. It definitely suppressed better than I anticipated. $525 plus tax stamp, transfer fee and the finger printing and mug shot. So around $835
Got a connection for a 226 Legion for half price, new. Worth buying?
It's heavy as fuck
For half price aka $600 I'd buy it in a fucking heartbeat
Technically I'm being offered any model Legion for that price. Any one you might recommend over the 226?
I've been wanting one of those so bad, I mean, it's baby brother, the P-07.
Was thinking of getting one, how is this?
226 RX
Yeah 226 RX or 226 SAO
yes
Yeah, was looking this as well. I've never been a Sig guy but with this I probably should be.
>someone's giving you one of their employee purchases
Hey this is sort of related. Walmart still has some 9mm left in my area. 50 rounds of brass federal for $8.70. Should I stock up on this or do you guys shoot something cheaper/better?
not a bad price, would consider
I bought 700 rounds of it from Walmart last week.
Go for it
If you mount a rmr on a usp you are a double nigger
Striker polymers with red dot, threaded barrel, weapon light thread eh?
I'm in.
Do it.
I love it, you should definitely get one. With the suppressor on, it's a little front heavy. As opposed to the P10c which feels more balanced on it. However the P10c doesn't quite get into battery sometimes with it suppressed. I'll need to shoot with it more suppressed and see if it'll "break" in with the suppressor on.
No firing pin block, heavier, controls are way bigger, grips are different (high-friction), the frame is slightly different (squared trigger guard, changes in grip allow for higher hold) and it has a better trigger.
Comes with stock fiber sights which is nice too. Stock magazines are 17 round vs 18 rounds on the sp-01, and the sp-01's rail is better too.
Personally for a carry if you want a brick in your pants I'd get a sp-01 with a cjw trigger. P-01 is far more practical just due to the weight and inch off the slide.
Sup /hg/, got a bit of a conundrum for you. I've been saving up for a M9A3 for the last couple months and been looking forward to it, but the last time I was in my LGS they had a early 2000's DA/SA P226 in very good shape in the case they said they'd be willing to part with for $480. What do?
Keep practicing!
226 RX SAO 100%
if you ride (push down on) the striker indicator on the P99, can you prevent firing? It's probably my favorite feature of the PPS, works perfectly.
Why the M9A3 over the Langdon or Wilson?
Have a PL Mini 2 on my G19. Love it. It's bright and pretty aesthetically pleasing as it's flush with the muzzle. No experience with the TLR-7. I'm sure either will be fine.
>Why the M9A3 over the Langdon or Wilson?
I shot one a few months back and really liked it, never had the chance to to shoot a Langdon or Wilson though. The other problem is I have tiny baby hands, so I'm pretty sure the vertec style grip is the way to go.
Well Burt, I've officially joined the rotation nation. Also this gun is fucking amazing.
I don't think your fingertip could exert enough pressure on that little nib to keep it from coming back.
This, or not much more. $1,200 my ass, the most expensive package is only $270, on a $500 gun that's not $1,200, and that's for brand new everything, not a used gun. With everything he says if it were pristine maybe $700, if that's the exact gun in the exact configuration that YOU want imo.
Cool!
Is that normal pricing? An old M&P shouldn't be that much...
That's it man, practice practice practice. When you shoot, tell yourself the gun isn't going to recoil. Let it bounce, it won't hurt or fly out of your hand. Keep reminding yourself for every shot, just pull the trigger, don't jerk.
There's no reason it couldn't be.
Jelly
That's an okay price, not woah amazing but not bad.
Attaboi
Czech out a D spring for a cheap quality of life upgrade
Wait for the M&P 2.0 pro
Got myself a new handgat, got a pretty good deal on it, or at least good for Canada. Though I gotta say the differences between it and my CZ P10F are pretty night and day, CZ has a much nicer trigger and much more comfortable grip angle, but I wanted a more ubiquitous firearm and cheaper mags. That said, despite a less comfortable grip I feel that I'm able to get a more firm grip of the Glock than the CZ. Not having those ugly little roll pins is nice too.

If I want a glock in a stupid wildcat caliber, will I have more fun with .460 Rowland g21 or 9x25 dillon g40?
Hi guys
Can someone take a photo of the PM pistol for me and write “Ivan Obukhov” on paper next to it? I want to make a joke on my friend, Handgun and pistols weapons are prohibited in our country.
Just like Victor

I'm trying to decide between these two as well. Which feels larger in your hand? I wear an xl glove so I think I'd go for the fatter one since I already have a shield for summer ccw. The P10F would be about $150 cheaper than the g17 for me tho, so after mags they would even out in price I think.
You'd probably enjoy a G40 more for 10mm and I suppose 9x25 Dillon. It's a pretty huge gun which is a novelty by itself, plus you can put a red dot on it. You can also get conversion barrels for .40 s&w and .357 sig which *shouldn't* need any other modifications to work since the case heads are all the same size
The Langdon slim grips are really thin so you'd probably be fine
Would it still be robust enough for occasional CC and range time? I love the the 3rd gen Smiths aesthetically and I might be able to get a 4013 TSW pretty much LNIB and my only concern is it being hard to find spare parts if something does break.
Only 1 red dot tho
The Glock feels larger in my hands. Though I'm gonna be honest after finger fucking the both of them I've gotta say the CZ feels much nicer, like I'm actually getting some buyers remorse over the Glock, not that I was expecting it to feel amazing or anything, but the CZ is just so much better imo.
Anyone here have experience with the M&P M2.0? I'm thinking it's the best thing I can buy right now but I don't trust the boomer at my gun store and don't know anyone who has one.
They seem to be very popular but not sure if that’s due to the price. Rent one, a lot of ranges have this as their rentable gun for the platform.
The M&Ps are good handguns, probably the next most popular striker fired pistols to Glock. I don't think you can go wrong with it.
They both have interchangeable backstraps so sizes can be changed, iirc the CZ has a larger "large" but between "mediums" the glok is bigger because of that 2x4 grip feel where the CZ is more rounded and slim feeling.
>cheaper mags
I don't get this... the glok is more expensive than the CZ by quite a bit, so the difference in mags is negligible unless you're buying, let's see...
About 22 magazines! At which point you'd break even with the difference in cost per magazine, but you'd have to buy even more than that in order to SAVE money. (~$33 vs $25 is $8 difference per mag divided into $180 which is the difference in price between a gen 5 g19 and a P10C). So if you're only buying maybe 3-5 extra mags on top of the 2 that come with the gun, you're nowhere NEAR "saving" money by paying more for the gloq!
Yeah man it's a fantastic gun. The only other thing even close in price and ergonomics is the CZ P10C if you want to check that out too.
You get fucked hard in Canada when it comes to the price of pistols. Everywhere else has them for $700 at least. As a comparison a Glock 19 is sold by everyone at a set price of $710 and a 19x is $805. That of course fluctuates with our shit dollar at the time of import.
RMR arrived today. Considering Brownell's RMR cut slide for my G19. Any other suggestions /hg/?
Yoikes buddy.
How does that super skinny guy that runs that Youtube channel and business conceal a full-size glock? I'd love to buy a full-size handgun but my only reason for owning a handgun at all is sensible concealed carry while still being fashionable. Doesn't seem to be a point.
I have a TLR7 on my m9a1 compact and I like it fine. The switches are a little bit odd as they sit so far forward compared to a 300 or TLR1, but it does keep the light very narrow.
Welcome to the crew.
>that slide safety
Is this an older Beretta PX4?
I have siblings now. The USP 9 is the latest addition.
Great! What do you think of the LEM trigger?
It's actually a true DAO, I thought it was gonna be LEM, but I was wrong.
henlo
P220 10mm
Ouch, too bad there's not really a way to tell an LEM gun from true DAO without the seller stating explicitly or you handling it in person. You should convert it to LEM.
That Skorpion stock better not be welded...
No I'm a leaf, for all the shitty laws we have we fortunately still don't have to deal with SBR/brace/whateverthefuck faggotry
That's the plan dubs.
I like it
BREAK YO SELF FOO
>doing that with a Cz
How dare you.
How dare I use my guns as I please

Ight heard this was the place to ask this
buying my first gun soon, got about 1k usd to blow.
I'd prefer a handgun just to carry.
Any recommendations?
No Glocks
Hi-point C9 and a ton of ammo
CZ PCR or P-01
Why is it so tiny and ugly
LEM P30, IWB and OWB holster, and a bunch of ammo.
Don't let that put you off. Countless wars have been fought and won with the c9.
and what conflicts were won with the yeet cannon
>not throwing it downrange after it's empty
squishy squishy
Too many to count but some notable ones are operation Crenshaw storm and the harbor war.
I love my Filipino Boomer Cannons, though being in California it's not like I have much of a choice.
>tfw no single stack with P99 trigger
That’s all I dream of.
