I shot my buddies scorpion side by side my sp5k and it's really no competition (not looking at price of course). Stock evo ergo are also sort of shit. I actually like the USC recoil impulse better than what I recall the scorpion being, and that's 45. I gotta tell my buddy to bring the scorpion again next time so we can properly compare. I'll straight up say that the USC has dog shit ergo compared to even the scorpion though, needs to be UMPd bad.

First and foremost? Recoil. Like, by a substantial amount. Also, out of the box the EVO is pretty mediocre and really needs upgrades to shine. That said, it's turning into a staple PCC, and it's getting the aftermarket to match. It just can't really compare to an MP5 is all.

I had one for a few years and loved it. Worst thing was the trigger but if you want that remedied send it off to Sierra Papa. The gun was comfy and light and ate everything I ever put through it. It’s one of the few guns I regret selling.

how bad is the trigger in your opinion? i know it's made of plastic but I'm a leaf and the SP trigger pack is $200 USD plus whatever it would cost to ship internationally

Question for OP/anyone with a ta44 for astigmatism, is it normal to be able to see a diamond shaped lens/internal glass surrounding the reticle within the optic? It’s visible until I back off about 4 inches but is it supposed to be there or is something busted?

looks like a flashlight cus it is a hacked off flashlight enjoying it's second life as a suppressor body. I'm like 99.5% certain that's the tail end of a maglight.

In fact I'm 100% certain cus pic related is the hole in the handle for the button. I have several maglights around the room and I recognize the grip checkering, the knurling on the end cap and that button hole.

Guns kill stuff and should be handled with respect for that killing power at all times. Eroding that respect leads to tragic accidents.

Recently got a b&t low micro mount for my zenith. I realize is made for one specific optic but it drives me nuts the way they designed the cutout. Below the rail is trapezoidal cutout that comes just slightly shorter than necessary. If they extended the cutout by a cm or two, this optic mount would fit tons more options.

The MP5 shoots very, very smoothly - it's one of the only PCCs on the market that doesn't just use simple direct blowback. The only other one I can think of would the Sig MPX (gas operated), but that doesn't have the same level of reliability iirc.

its not a meme either, to some degree anyway. the banshee is very smooth shooting. with the right buffer weight, it could be on the mp5 level of smoothness.
one major flaw seems to be premature wear on the extractor spring. supposedly it wears to the point of replacement within 1000-2000 rounds. cmmg does not sell the spring separately though, they do replace it for free if you send in your gun which is lame.
or buy the $50 replacement parts kit

Pretty generic at the moment but it does a decent job. I've gotten the magpul grip and mag release already, and I have an undisclosed number of magpul 35 round mags on backorder.
