It looks like the bushing rides in a groove on top of the extended dust cover, which is the barrel hinge mount
You can buy a working airsoft version that also uses airsoftshotgun shells, but the original is a blank firing prop

So real talk, what caliber would actually be used to reliably kill androids?
We can assume it'd have to be able to punch clean through steel to fuck up whatever's keeping the android "alive" and running, so 9mm would probably be off the table immediately. Would battle rifles, scattergats, six shooters and handcannons be necessary for any aspiring android hunter?

QCW05. Chinese blowback SMG, quadstack 50rnd mag in 5.8×21mm subsonic. Designed to be suppressed (iirc its even in the translation of QCW) but with a removable suppressor not integral.
Either that or its the export variant in 9mm, don't know enough to tell them apart at a glance.
