Good safe for storing a hand gun?

My job doesn't allow carry anywhere at the work site. I have to park my car in the site to get to work, so I cannot bring my gun to work at all.

I need a small safe for holding a hand gun, some emergency cash, and a crypto wallet. Anyone have any recommendations for something gun? Again, not a full size gun safe, just a small safe for a handgun and a few other things.

Just keep it with you, what do you do for work? I work in a medical clinic and always have mine

your holster

If you absolutely have to leave it, which you shouldn't because you should keep it on you I'd get a small but sturdy lockbox and a thick ass cable to secure it to an immovable part of the car

Get a snap safe they are like 30$ and come with a braided steel cord you can wrap around your seat and the case slides under perfectly.

Gentleman I'm not even allowed to keep it in my car. I'm leaving it at home while I'm at work. I work for a defense contractor and require a clearance for my job. Protocol does not allow me to carry a firearm anywhere on the property.

So this safe will be used to secure my hand gun while I am at work, upon arrival at home I want something secure but easy to access so I can immediately retrieve my firearm.

To clarify any confusion, if it was in my car inside of a safe in the parking lot of my facility and somehow someone found out, I would lose my security clearance, my job, and likely be barred from working in the defense industry ever again. I'd also probably be criminally charged. It's not something I am willing to risk in any way shape or form.

Are you wanded every time you enter the building?

No but what take a chance? If for some reason some idiot made some threat to shoot up our facility or something they'd probably check everyone coming in to work that day and then I'd lose my career and get a felony. There's no way I am ever taking that risk.

How many dependents do you have?

Check your state laws this might be an illegal prohibition. I used to work for a large corp. That didn't allow on their property but this is a castle doctrine state that includes your car so they couldn't legally stop me from having it my car.

nigga your retarded. I'm not fully aware of your situation but even on national labs, such as Sandia for sure, you are allowed to have a firearm in your car stowed and unloaded.

It's not an illegal prohibition. Private businesses and govt alike are allowed to bar anything they want on their property. He wouldn't go to jail, but he could get definitely get fired.

I am not sure that he would loose his clearance unless he violated a law. I think clearance would stay for two months after firing. He'd be fucked if he had a non-compete clause and couldn't work in the same industry

Doesn't matter my company works for USG, my company and USG override state and local laws when they say I can't have a firearm on the property.

Guys I'm just looking for safe recommendations to keep my handgun secure when it's at home.

Well OP, since you've got no one depending on your income and you value your life less than your money I'd recommend this company secureitgunstorage.com/.
You'll have enough money to afford them since you're clearly making enough to disregard your own safety. Just so you know, Im not saying you're chickenshit, but on my Minecraft server I CC through schools, my place of work and anywhere that isn't guarded by a metal detector. Best of luck buddy, I'm glad the government contracts people of your caliber for our defense.

Actually you may not be correct legally.

1. Are you actually going onto the property of a government facility, or just going to your job at the defense contractor, on land owned by the defense contractor?
2. What state is the facility, if it is owned by the defense contractor?
3. If they handle explosives at your site, forget about answering 1 and 2.

> I'm glad the government contracts people of your caliber for our defense.

Lolol OP is a rare person to be like that in the field of working for a defense contractor.

carry, idiot

>3. If they handle explosives at your site, forget about answering 1 and 2.
There is ordnance at the site. I'm not fucking around trying to get fired just recommend me a good small safe for my pistol motherfuckers.

>defense industry
>cant defend self
You got the shit end of the stick there m'boy

Literally just throw your gun under your pillow and call it a day

illegal in ohio

>He wouldn't go to jail, but he could get definitely get fired.

This, legally I can conceal carry at my work, but if I get caught, they’d definitely fire me

Disassemble it then.

CIA NOG DETECTED

>I'm not even allowed to keep it in my car.
CASTLE DOCTRINE. Vehicle is an extention of your home. Did they violate your 4th and 2nd Amendment Rights all at once?

Just hide it a safe is trash

seems like a good safe but make sure it's bolted to something

>OP asks a question
>gets a dozen answers suggesting what he specifically DIDN'T request
Never change, Jow Forums.

Nothing about "castle doctrine" would stop your employer from making you park off their property, or firing you.

Your employer can fire you for refusing a search.

>I CC through schools, my place of work and anywhere that isn't guarded by a metal detector.
My workplace has a metal detector. I CC through it every day. Every day it goes off. No one ever checks why.

Stupid illiterate faggot, I linked a safe company that will fit his needs. An extra small safe he can keep his shrunken testicles in to protect them at home. If you're lucky, they'll have one for your miniscule brain as well.
>Every day it goes off
Probably just detecting your balls of steel, kudos user.
