Name one thing Colt does with their ARs that virtually every other reputable AR manufacture can't or doesn't do better.

They did the same thing in like 2014 to focus on military contracts, they’ll have civilian guns available again in the future. Colt’s spokesperson basically said that the market is saturated with ARs and they can afford to stop for a bit to focus full production on fulfilling military contracts and when that’s through come back to the civilian market.

Forever. Like another user said above, Colt did this before in 2014 and it wasn't permanent. LE prefixes will probably always be worth a little more since they're all CR prefix now. But who cares?

I don't really care much about Colt, but it is nice to have more "correct" roll mark for my build, but at the same time I would gladly lose that correctness to get some dosh to put towards other stuff like an SPR.

The chief issues with the MR556 are the barrel and handguard, wouldn’t replacing those components be enough or would the gas system be different too?
