I'm a (legal) gun owner (including NFA items) with a sordid criminal past including a class B felony charge (no conviction), controlled substance convictions and a small pile of class A misdemeanor convictions of the criminal fencing and trespassing assortment (thief), other stuff too, want to do an AMA? I know crime, drugs and guns is a sensitive topic, maybe I have some experience an user or two might covet? If my moral ambiguity is too unsettling I understand, but I'll be floating around for a few hours.

I'm not looking to fight or troll, just bored enough to offer this up, let's see what happens.

Do black people actually use dracos

i've seen many post from people that use to have a criminal past long time ago ( more than 5 years ) on this board, care to explain all the procedure you did to gain back your right to own weapons ?

I dunno, those world star hood life videos certainly imply so

I never lost my rights, there was a period where the condition of bail where I was "not allowed to posses firearms"
Now, I had a room full of guns at the time, and I just didn't go into it for the interim period before the trial.
I probably should have given them to a friend, but the "enforcement" was instantaneous, so it was almost easier just to "la la la" and pretend they didn't exist.

Granted, these were conditions of bail, not a punitive function.

Ummm...is anyone gonna tell him?

Meagain
That said, you can annul most crimes at the 3 year mark, and at the 7 year mark, they slip off your jacket, at least for state court in my experience.

That said I've always annulled everything immediately, including arrests, not just convictions, and still some are on my record, as like with any government function, getting them to "check the right box" often takes an army of lawyers, thankfully none of the boxes I want unchecked effect actual ownership or carry.

State level convictions or federal? What kind of guns are most popular with gangsters and garden variety criminals? See many illegal NFA items?

State, I'm really not much of a "criminal" on the grand scale, most I did was 14 in 23 hour lock down in a state pen
I honestly have no idea what organized criminals use or like, I'm just a big tard with a jacket

What type of knife would you use to cut off the hand of a thief?

with all due respect, your criminal past isn't particularly interesting or even relevant to gun discussion. the criteria as it stands is pretty lenient already...just don't have a felony conviction or have any violence related misdemeanors. rest is fair game. most people don't even get convicted of felonies given they have attorneys and aren't retards. i guess my only question is what state do you live in and do you have your CCW? I have seen the term 'adjudication' used in an ambiguous way on many of these state CCW apps because technically in your case I assume you were adjudicated of your felony charge which is still a prohibitive offense in some states.

Was going to ask about how you got your rights back but as you answered that question i wont.
What type of crime did you commit to land those charges?
What was the most common gun that you saw?
If you had any criminal acquaintances do you still talk to them?

I didn't mean to imply my personal history was interesting, just that it might be pertinent.
I have a carry license in 2 different states, 1 archaic and draconian that is about to expire, another that is a permit-less carry state now where the license is just for good measure.

I think if I went back to that more dogmatic state and tried to re-apply for my CCW they would see my record and deny me despite the legality and tell me I would need to get a lawyer to change anything.

I was told that before when very young and poor a few years after my first law tussle, the detective straight up said he was gonna deny me and if I wanted do anything about it I would see him in court.

How many lashes should dope smokes receive?

I'm a criminal in the sense that I have a few criminal convictions, but my profession has never been crime, I don't really have any insight in to the professional criminal world. Just insight into like, getting into yelling matches with the local branch of the ATF

have you ever been shot?
I've been shot through a car door. heres a fun fact: modern cars, especially luxury cars, have so much shit in the doors now that they are somewhat bullet resistant.

What were the felonies?

I'm unsure, broad abstract policy design and enforcement has never interested me, too much like angry birds, a whole bunch of randomness disguised as meaningful interactions.

The only felony charge ever leveled at me (thankfully) was a Class B Reckless Conduct - Deadly Weapon

OP says he is a repeat offender/habitual criminal
There is no amount of incarceration that will prevent his recidivism. The only punishment that will prevent OP from victimizing others is execution.
Preferably public.

good luck with that plan, I still have my guns

Weed should be like tobacco, legal but stigmatized.

Trespassers should be beaten lightly or moderately.

Thieves should receive a heavy beating and 1-3 years forced labor.

Robbers should be executed.

bring one to your next crime so you can get shot.

>>I still have my guns
Cool, if you prefer a firing squad and to be shot with your own guns, I’m down with that too.

Trespassers should be killed.

All Thieves should hang.

Not him but I've actually shot an officer and crippled him.
No jail time.

Based thug

Why do inmates canibalize TV cables and electrical sockets so they can heat up water but never make a functional tazer through the same process? How does one go about making a wall safe? How many oranges and honey buns does it take to make hooch? Could you explain how exactly to make hooch? Why do prison tats look better than shit people pay for at tattoo shops? Why does prison sign language differ from regular sign language? What makes inmates shit in the showers instead of just waiting to do it in their cell. I've got a lot of questions, but not many of them are weapons related.

14 days my man, not years lol
dude my time in sucked, I was in 23 hour lock down because 14 days is so short they won't take the time to put you in general, so you stay in the high risk high detention area instead.

Ah. Alright.

erm story?

What did you do

Is solitary as bad as they make it sound?
