Yeah
Optics suggestions? Less than 12 oz?
9 more momths wait!
Though particularly ugly, the Honey Badger would be a superior Home Defense build to any shotgun or SMG
Great thread OP
An A10 Warthog is also ugly. But works well!
Your favorite red dot? I don't see what else would be better for this kind of rifle.
It's a good idea.
It's a pretty cool gun for close-quarters stuff. You don't get very good velocity with supers though so that sucks. Too expensive/10
love the brrrrrrrrt
Same ammo price as .308 around me. So I built an aero m5 pistol instead, put a brake on it too.
What did I win?
Because I found the retard...
Close quarters you want Bushmaster/SOCOM/Beowulf.
Blk is better than 5.56 at distance.
Go ahead, fight me.
Uhhhhh. In what way is 300blk better at distance then 5.56? 5.56 will have rifle like wounding capabilities at greater distances than 300blk assuming optimized configs. Plus it's easier to hit stuff with the 5.56.
300chimpout has more kinetic energy from an 8.5 inch barrel than 5.56 does from a 14.5 inch barrel out to 300 yards. This is strictly super sonic ammunition though
Kinetic energy is only one component in wounding performance. Velocity in excess of the threshold for hydrostatic shock resulting in severe tissue damage to occur is arguably far more important than strictly kinetic energy.
Uuuuhhhh guys?
Cope for your gay-R not being able to shoot glorious slav steel.
Just got my stamp back for 300 SPS can. Gonna use it for home defense. Any recommendations for ammo
Based. Everyone needs to watch this

It may have kinetic energy, but it lacks velocity at range, meaning actually scoring hits becomes harder. Remember, 300 BLK is more or less identical to 7.62x39, with some minor differences in ballistics. You don't see guys overseas using it in their SPR/RECCE rifles, it's been adopted specifically for close range to replace the MP5 and MP7 with subsonics, while still being able to be efffective at longer ranges with standard ammo. Most guys are still using 5.56 for longer range.
