Uh what? the pro tip is making them out of normal sized paper clips or reformed metal bag clips and ensuring you can use thick rubber bands that give you at least a foot long stretch. My elementary school rapidly weaponized past paper or tinfoil ones to the paper clip ones and then we started actually drawing blood and the UN (school) got involved, after that the arms race proliferated into deterrence in the class room with binder shields and lunch or trading card sabotage, and wrist rockets with whatever you could get your hands on or airsoft guns outside of school.

Third and fourth grade was a fucking blast, we had a few coalitions with like ten to fifteen boys each. It basically alleviated any bullying we had because in a class of 200 students and like 90 boys you couldn't afford to leave anyone out lest you lose out on manpower.
