The ATF.

The exit

Last gun show I went to I picked up some stupid old fudd gun and the stupid old fudd standing near it said "I just bought that" and took it from me. I should have killed him then and there.

But that's pretty much what you can look forward to.

>BZZZTTTT
>Terrorist Hunting Permit bumper stickers
>Weird guy selling copies of Mein Kampf, Turner Diaries, Seige and clearly fake Nazi memorabilia.
>Suspicious "beef jerky".
>Shady dude selling something he made in his garage that's clearly illegal.
>Overpriced surplus ammo that's actually drunken hand-loads.
>Table with absolutely nothing for sale.
>Table with the cheapest shittiest airsoft guns and gear imaginable priced for 4x what it costs on Amazon, which is where it all came from.
>One guy with a pile of magazines, literally every magazine for every gun ever made.
>MAGA shirts/hats
>Booth for some weird cult that is totally going to get raided one day.

>"Private sale only" booth filled with nothing but the shittiest Saturday night specials all priced $500+ because some people can't pass a background check and they know it.

Don't forget about extremely common old guns priced at $800 and up because Boomers are delusional about gun prices.

I fucking wish. I’ve never met a single one of those booth-running dudes EVER be willing to sell privately. But if you have something they want to buy, then the transfer process goes out the window.

Also don’t forget about that one old guy with a bunch of nice-ish guns that are not for sale because “IDS A GUN SHOW, NOT A GUN SALE”

For some reason, around here it’s always Thompson’s and M1D’s

Second rate AR's selling near $1000 because apparently everybody is retarded.

>What should I keep my eye out for?
Fudds

FUDs

You in Alabama?

>A booth that's not selling anything but the guy will talk your ear off about each and every piece he has on the table.

Urge to strangle rising.

I like how Jow Forums says this all the time, but criminals very, very rarely get guns from private sales. I remember some user posting an infographic or a link to a PDF that confirmed this. You don't need to worry about us buying things from your booth.

I was expecting you guys to give me some advice on which gun deals to look out for. I'm bringing $600 cash but I don't expect to spend it unless I find a good deal.

The loophole.

If you can find a non-american made AK for under that it would be ok. Gun shows pretty much suck for deals anymore though. Mostly just endless tables of dealers selling new guns for MSRP or above.

Your best bet at finding a good deal is on Sunday when it’s about to end and the boomer fudds feel the pressure to unload their shitty flip. It isn’t impossible that you can walk out with a hood nigger gun like a Romanian AK or old semi Tec 9, but that was more prominent like 15-20 years ago. Also high end artcraft guns can be found and flipped but only if you’re one of the earlier people in that process.

Ignore pretty much everything new. You will likely never get a good deal on it compared to just buying online and transferring it through an FFL.

Used, though, is where you can maybe make some good deals. If you're into any kind of milsurp, look for the tables with old stuff on them and examine them. This is where you absolutely can bargain, don't be afraid to do so. Examine the bores; get permission to dry fire if you can do so, make sure there are no mechanical issues with the guns.

You might also get some good deals on miscellaneous gear like web gear, ammo cans, slings, stripper clips, and magazines. That's a very big might though; most of the time you'd be better off just buying from sellers on AKFiles, Arfcom, or even le reddit's Gun Accessories subreddit.

>Overpriced surplus ammo that's actually drunken hand-loads.

This; I got burned very hard on some 5.56 ammo purchased. If you buy any ammo from a gun show, make sure it's sealed in factory packaging and check the headstamps.

Stock up on wellbutrin because you'll be battling clinical depression afterwards

It's not a bad place to get bulk ammo and magazines. Never seen a gun I really wanted in one of these though.

>>Weird guy selling copies of Mein Kampf, Turner Diaries, Seige and clearly fake Nazi memorabilia.

You mean the based guy.

>I know what I got

See these

Also any nazi and confederate stuff. Free speech is under attack by paypal and bankers so pick up anything cool like that.

>be me, 12yo
>go to gunshow with my mom, wander around alone
>find tiny little gun in a display case, i'm inspecting it through the glass and reading the sign under it
>boomer walks over "You know what that is?"
>"A really tiny gun! Never seen one so small. And it fires real bullets?"
>"Yep, that's the smallest center fire pistol in the world.... Do you even know what centerfire means?"
>"Yea, the primers in the center..."
Boomers

Yep except more BZZZZZZTTT's and
>chinese flashlight/laser merchants who have no idea how their cheap shit works

Don't go, that's my advice. It's just a waste of time.

>BZZZZT

We can't forget the other gems
>table full of shitty chink OTF knives marked up 5x the DHGate price
